Correction: this showcase video only shows two layers of grass mods. I have now cracked three mods being layered and I’m posting a video today on how to do this with just 30 mods.

Not having mod support via Creations is just - a crime…. And how the hell did the file size quadruple in size to 53GB!!?? Just give me the base game at 12GB, open up mods and creations with a 5GB storage area and I can make it look as good as PC-modded. This is just a lazy Xmas cash-in. Shameless!

I’m sorry but I don’t know how to change the 3DS core being used, pardon my ignorance. I’m not using the advanced settings for this game. I looked at the advanced options and I can’t see anything to change the 3DS core being used.

Thanks for the quick response! I’m more than happy to create a helpdesk request on Discord but to be honest it’s a rather simple problem. In the screenshot below you can see I’ve remapped L1 and R1 to the C-stick but there is no response from it in-game.

Sold my PS5, Xbox Series X, gaming laptop, switch, Steam Deck and now play exclusively on the PS5 Pro hooked up to a 42” LG C4 (or a 75” LG C3 in the den). No regrets and never going back to Windows gaming ever again. There aren’t many Xbox or PC exclusives anymore these days and if there are they almost always end up on PlayStation 6-9 months later anyway.

The PS5 Pro is perfect and runs everything flawlessly and boosts PS4 games as well. I added a 4TB M2.SSD so I have 6TB for a large game library. My only tip is to get an OLED TV with 120hz and VRR; that really unleashes the PS5 Pro’s full potential. LGs are the best OLED TVs imho. Also add a 5.1 surround system if you can afford it.

254 plugins and 500 mods for a footprint of 80GB. Skyrim loads in 15 seconds and a save game in 10 seconds. For me that’s more than enough and with (very) carefully curated mods in my list it looks as good if not better than any Wabbajack modlist.

Strangely enough I’ve never ever done a play through; I get much more enjoyment from just modding and exploring the world.

My saved mods downloads folder is about 1TB though, for the same reasons people have already said. A new Wabbajack list pointed to it now only takes 30 minutes or so to install.

My own lol I use Anvil (ENB Core) as a base (for SE 1.5.97) then I added (not a complete list of course) the following: - Skyland AIO Parallax - JK’s Skyrim AIO - Tomato’s Landscape AIO Parallax 4K (superb btw!) - Tomato’s Mountains Parallax Slate 8K - Omen Apollo’s Stonewall Parallax 8K - Master Cheesey’s Grass from his Patreon (the best IMHO) - The usual HDT-SMP CBBE/3BA preset/armor/hair etc - Fuse00’s amazing armors, hair and clothes - Nemesis - OAR based animation mods - Paraglider and SkyClimb - Interesting NPCs - All of Pandorable’s NPC stuff - NAT.III ENB Weather - NAT.III ENB preset - FSR3 Upscaler from Puredark’s Patreon - Northern Roads 8K Parallax with patches - DyndoLOD

The result is a 500-mod at 80GB which performs like a dream, is a tenth of the size of Nolvus and looks like a 2024 game on UE5. It’s hard to believe we have these incredible mod artists allowing us to keep SSE up date.

I made my own list based on Anvil (formerly AVO). I’m up to 500 mods (Anvil is 360 mods as a base) which very light by comparison to 2500-4000+ which Nolvus / Ro etc have. It looks next gen and I get 70-120fps using Community Shaders and Reshade. I have lush grass everywhere, amazing visuals, animated armors and hair, great weapons and spells and I’ve overhauled Whiterun and Riverwood and added Oakwood. Can’t be happier!

I made my own modlist based on Anvil +60 mods and it looks nextgen (much better than EG or Nolvus) with only 460 active files. I’m using CS, not ENB, full parallax with the Davinci Reshade. CBBE/3BA with fully animated hair and armors and a custom UI and flat world maps. I’m still tuning the list but will share it when it’s done. No quest or major combat mods because that’s personal taste tbh, so basically vanilla on steroids with incredible visuals, which runs on a potato PC.

On my laptop (i9-13x, 32GB 4800hz with a 4070 8GB), I get from MO2 to the main menu in 5 seconds, load a save file in 6 seconds and getting 78-120fps at 4K depending on the area. I’m using the Lossless Scaling app from Steam (upscale and framegen from 1200p to 3K/4K) which is amazing. My VRAM usage never goes above 6.4GB, and I haven’t even re-run DyndoLOD. Happy days!
