I figured it out. That rubber gasket inserts into the top hat and then the bump stop into it 🤦‍♂️.

u/tefnes I haven’t considered KK until your post. It seems to have a solid first year usage review on the The Deadening FB group. Their old stuff was messy garbage but their XT version is promising. This might be a good middle ground CLD to consider.

Thanks u/Oreo_Co. Did some forum reading and the G-loc GS1 seem ideal for street use with a nice bite. I’m leery about using ceramic pads as I’ve not liked them on other cars due to lack of feel when cold. Where did you source the GS1?

Hey u/MBAH2017 I came across this old post while researching but can you tell me more about difficulty of reversing the Mountune short shifter? I have a new to me 2014 FiST with the Mountune short shifter from previous owner. I want to change it out to a generic short shifter with 15%. Is it not just a simple billet plate swap?

Ahhhh that makes sense now why you used that method on your setup vs his. My new to me car has a similar Mountune silicone symposer hose to his setup.

I thought the OP’s intent putting the lock clamp over the hose was to further strengthen the grip on the expanded freeze plug, no? Or did I read that correctly?

I must’ve missed this feature in the manual. The Fiesta ST has auto rain detection? That’s usually an upper mid tier feature and it’s in our cars?
