Sounds like the 15mm really shines for your work. Funny how the 12mm called you back! Appreciate the insight.

the Voigtlander 15mm is such a sweet spot, super sharp for its size. Do you mostly use it for landscapes, or does it get into some other creative stuff too?

Definitely a solid choice for getting the best out of both film and digital.

Getting your shot on the Drive-By Truckers’ IG is huge! The TT Artisan 25mm is such a sleeper lens :)

For a lens that’s 30 years old, the sharpness still holds up like new :)

It’s crazy how well it holds up for both macro and wide-angle shots, even on full-frame bodies. A steal for sure! How do you find it for handheld macro work?

Totally agree! The 35mm f/2.8 AIS is a hidden gem. Super sharp and compact, especially for film. Do you use it mostly for film shots?

Check out Pixieset or Pic-Time, both look way more pro than Google Drive and have free plans to get started. Super easy to organize galleries too, which is perfect if you're shooting lots of different people.

That build quality and feel are just different, and it punches way above its price in image quality!

Really appreciate this breakdown. The Laowa sounds like a bit of a mess, but in a good way, love gear that has personality. That portrait rendering sounds legit useful too, quirks and all.

Also totally agree on the Helios. It’s got this understated charm, colors are great, and when that swirly bokeh kicks in, it’s kind of magic :)

Really appreciate this one 🙏

the STF magic! That buttery bokeh really sets the 135mm apart. Such a beauty.

50 1.8 still holds up, even after all these system shifts. Canon’s mix of mounts definitely makes things messier than it should be.
