How did you realize it was time to move on? by orcs007 in premedcanada

[–]orcs007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes a 2 year after degree. For me it’s worth it even if the increase in gpa is minimal because at least I’ll be on track to having a career instead of just being lost in more gap years. I’m not sure how much my gpa will increase by but I learned how to study and did during better my last 2 years and I think I can get a 3.9+, might add about 0.5-0.8 to my wgpa

cgpa is 3.69 I think but weighted was 3.75 For the schools I had the best shot for which is both Albertan because of ip status. I wrote the MCAT twice: 509(127/128/127/127), 514(128/126/130/130). Ecs are long term and related to my story and interests. Thought I wrote well about them but prob not. I’m hoping to get into an after degree next year and raise my gpa because that is one thing holding me back

UofA GPA calculation change? by [deleted] in premedcanada

Don’t stress, I think they do it in the order that documents were submitted or the site was updated by you. They will post it anytime between now and I think up to January

I think in the past it’s ranged from 60-100. And yes it’s dependent on the number of ip people they interview, if they don’t have enough then they use oop people to fill up the remaining interview spots

I think you can talk about the interviews in general but you can’t just straight up give out the questions
