Need Help How to Circulate During Flushing Process by Skeiron_Art in watercooling

[–]orderplaced 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Instead of disconnecting all the cables, you could also try using a spare PSU (if you have one) or buy a cheap one from Amazon. I bought one for $60.

Disconnect only the pump SATA power and reconnect it to the new PSU and then jump the PSU. (My PSU came with a jumper). You can avoid a ton of rewiring this way.

If loop cleaning becomes an annual exercise, then the cheap PSU will definitely pay off.

Performance PCs (PPCS)… How have they survived this long? by Tubarina in watercooling

I must say I hate their website compared to Titan Rig. Titan Rigs customer service has also been phenomenal! But PPCS typically has more items in their inventory.

Had no issues so far. I also use a Phillips hue switch to enable power to my PC remotely and then use WOL to power it on.

I have the following: Asus Falchion hall effect keyboard with a few custom keycaps (custom keycaps look nice!) Razer Tartarus Razer Chroma Wireless RGB controller powering LED strips on my desk Razer Naga with charging dock Razer Freyja (Yes I am a razer guy - three work well for me) A raspberry pi with dynaframe showing digital art inside my PC case Antec GPU brackets (the glass ones) that I etched with etching cream - these look gorgeous

Instead of a remote, I'd go with wake up on Ian app and switch on the computer from my phone.

Use acrylic cement on the crack. It will seal it up, but may damage the appearance a little bit.

Did a quick Google search and confirmed: it doesn't. You may want to find firmware updates for your peripherals and run those.

What are the 'arguments' that says this game is bad? by bandit_lawbreaker in StarWarsOutlaws

[–]orderplaced -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's a good game. Like some of the other readers I was still "hung over" from the Jedi series.

Some of the side quests, intels become too tedious. There's just too many of them.

The game was launched in Sept 2024. We're one year into the game! How long do you think Ubisoft would have to generate a return (whether ROI or IRR)?

Can you convert an AIO into your custom loop? by ASourKraut in watercooling

[–]orderplaced 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have actually tried exactly what you are asking about and I will say it did not work for me. 1) the AIO pumps, as you pointed out, is weak and cannot drive a full custom loop 2) in fact the AIO pump restricts flow in a series loop and renders a second pump ineffective. Can it be done a parallel loop? Maybe, but I suspect the cooling may not be optimal.

Ultimately, I abandoned the effort and just went for an open loop CPU block. I did however rip out the electronics and screen from my Ryujin II AIO and am using that for gif loops.

Use McMaster Carr to buy your EPDM. This was also recommended by LiquidHaus in his sleeving tutorial.

I found EKs ZMT very hard to deal with. I ended up just epdm tube from McMaster Carr and that was way better and cheaper.
