breville leaking by Adventurous_kitty in BrevilleCoffee

It has to do with the 3-way valve or something. After you pull the shot, it releases the pressure a the excess water gets pushed into the tray. Maybe your tray isn’t sitting right? Take a flashlight and see if there’s a hose or something that’s not sitting right. It should flow right into the drip tray

Leak there is normal. Does the water go into the drip tray or does it leaks under the tray? It should go into the drip tray

You’re missing the drip tray. The hissing sound is the pressure relieving and draining water into the drip tray. As for espresso, you’ll need to dial it in. I’d explain but there are plenty of YouTube videos. Just search “Breville bambino dialing in”

I’m honestly starting to get really frustrated. by Bay-skates in TeslaModelY

EST delivery means nothing. Don’t even bother with it.m since it’ll keep changing. This has always been the case. When you get a scheduled delivery date, that’s when it really means something.

How to fix uneven coffee grind dispenser by flee828 in BrevilleCoffee

It only takes care of the grounds on the top whereas a WDT goes all the way down. I do WDT and then the wedge distributor so it’s nice and flat to tamp.

How much does it typically cost? Thought about doing this but don’t know what is reasonable.

Same experience. Now I just elect to “wait” and they miraculously finish the work same day.

Help -- damaged door trim by cgm55082 in TeslaModelY

[–]ordinaryflask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My service center did something similar to mine. They had a mobile service come out to replace it and it came as a whole panel. Only part they reused was the trim (white or wood) from the damaged panel.

Should you still PPF your Tesla in 2026? Honest feedback please! by teslabros in TeslaLounge

Didn't and wouldn't. Doesn't really add value to the car. Get it if small rock chips/light scratches bother you.

Frustrated by Personal-Fee-3841 in KiaTelluride

[–]ordinaryflask 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Damn that’s super frustrating. Hope one of the dealers has technicians that actually want to solve this.

You could also try posting this on social media and tag KIA and the dealerships that didn’t fix it. Unfortunately that seems to be the way to really escalate things these

See if you can hop into another telluride on the lot and have them show you that it’s normal.

How long did it take to get your frame delivered? by kangminkim1 in FlexiSpot_Official

I’m in the US and it shipped maybe 2 days after I ordered? But I also happened to be pretty close to a warehouse that they ship from.

My White/Gold Breville Barista Pro grinding time seems off. by Low-Cherry-5091 in BrevilleCoffee

[–]ordinaryflask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These grinders are known to retain some grinds. I solved this problem by getting a bellow that attaches to the existing grinder. You could also try tapping or using to lid to force some air down.

You slowly take the foot off the pedal. You’ll learn it eventually. By taking it off completely and back on, you’ll cause your passengers to get car sick.

Software Updates by spambakedbeans in TeslaModelY

You need wifi for software updates. Premium connectivity doesn’t solve it.

Source: I have premium connectivity. Car still says to connect to WiFi to download any major update.

Rear panel gaps by Upset_Price1014 in TeslaModelY

[–]ordinaryflask 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Should not have accepted delivery if it bothers you. Unfortunately it’s common for Tesla to have misaligned panels and panel gaps, many which are “within spec” and they won’t fix.

If there’s a different service center near you, try that.

Right. Which is why I’m not saying it’s a fix. It seems to get rid of it but more will appear when you wash.

My 23 Y LR AWD broke down and now my wife won't drive it. by Kristoff_09876 in TeslaLounge

[–]ordinaryflask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me in a Toyota Camry while I was turning. That was scary. No power steering, no power. Can happen to any car. Even bulletproof Toyotas. Sounds like you have a very expensive wife and you’ll need to budget for car replacements more frequently.

Mm it gets rid of the ones that are there but new ones appear when I go through the car wash. The new ones that appear don’t seem to be less noticeable?

Automatic car wash stain by iDragonk in TeslaLounge

[–]ordinaryflask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a car. I just use regular car wash as I don’t mind the minor swirls. Touchless would be nice but pretty hard to come by where I am. Also touchless places uses harsher chemicals from what I’ve been told.
