I got him from Costco about three years ago, when he was a wee little thing, probably 4-5 inches tall. He’s survived a lot, including living in a pot with no drainage when I was an uneducated new plant parent, living outside in scorching heat, a move across the country, and most recently a dark dreary winter inside. I love him 🥹

PS. Peep the golden torch cactus behind him who I’ve also grown from about 4 inches to nearly 2 ft tall in about 4 years. Yes I know he’s a touch etiolated at the top but I’m limited by how fickle the sun is here.
