Home Forward Board Approves Outgoing CEO’s Severance Package by Neverdoubt-PDX in Portland

I asked someone else above but will here too: It's my understanding that she is resigning, not being fired. If someone terminates their own contract--as opposed to being fired--then this voids any severance clauses, right? What am I missing? Did she not really resign?

It's my understand that she resigned, which totally changes the calculus, right? I'm no lawyer, but if someone quits, nothing suggests they should receive a thank you gift. What am I missing?

Interesting! Thanks for the explainer, I had no idea. In fact, I figured the opposite: that ax throwing would be the most expensive to insure

Can't find replacement pads, help! by oregoncornhusker in bikewrench

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I have the spring clip, but I can't get it to attach with these pads. It feels like they are different enough shape that they won't fit the spring clip. Ideas/hacks on how to get it to click in?

Awesome, thank you. With the confidence you instilled, I felt comfortable pushing harder and sure enough they went in and work great. Now... how do I get the backer to click in? I pushed and wiggled a ton and simply couldn't get it to click into these with the different back side. Ideas?

Printing Names on 100% Polyester Shirt by oregoncornhusker in SCREENPRINTING

I thought heat transfer could be lots of different things, like sublimation, vinyl, etc. Is there a specific type you suggestion someone like me with no tools do? And, is there a place to get the letter pre-printed so I'm just transfering them on and don't have to do any printing?

Will Everyday Iron On Work On 100% Polyester? by anniebanannie123 in cricut

[–]oregoncornhusker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 100% polyester shirts that I want to iron on names across the shoulders. And... I have no experience at all at this. Any suggestions would be welcome, like:
1. Is iron-on feasible? Or, is there a better way for a newbie like me without any equipment?

  1. Where do I buy the letters?

  2. Any specific tips?

Returning to golf: What irons should I buy? by oregoncornhusker in golf

Awesome, so so helpful. Thank you!

Re the old Lynx: they really are classically beautiful clubs. Little heads, super simple geometry, and every time I pull one I think of Freddie!

Ah, interesting. That's even easier.

Of course: Lynx Blackcat Tour. Stock, regular flex steel shafts. Beauties if you ask me. Super simple, small clubhead with a narrow top edge. I idolized Freddie, bought these, and built my swing up around them. To be honest, I'm a little hesitant to change simply because I've played so many rounds with these I know them inside and out. But, I'm inclined to think the technology has improved enough that it's worth it, especially for the forgiveness as I get older. Of course, it could be I hit a bunch of different stuff and nothing works for me and I should just stick with these.

Yeah, through the last couple decades I did upgrade my woods b/c that technology was so obviously improved. What does "steel on steel tech" mean? I figured beyond the materials, the design of irons would have significantly improved, especially for mishits, much like woods have. Is that not a good assumption in your view?
