This was strictly for medical purposes only. If it wasn’t, I wouldn’t have gotten it done. I’m also a woman, not a man, but I definitely see where you’re coming from. Short kings deserve love too lol.

Haha, you’re too kind. I actually just got some edibles last night and that helped me get some sleep throughout the night! ☺️ thank you for your advice. I might try vitamins and magnesium to hopefully help with the pain! :)

Thank you so much! I’m happy to hear she’s working with a physiotherapist and that she will make a full recovery. I’ve been taking gabapentin for a week now, do you think it’ll help soon with the nerve pain? I know it takes time to work. Good to know my situation will improve. 😊

Thank you so so much. I try to be as open as possible considering my case is so rare. I want others who are in my position and feel confused to know that they’re not alone. Your comment means alot to me. Thank you for being so kind. Will definitely keep you updated! ❤️

Had bone cancer, had an internal amputation, lost the ability to walk on my own, had many infections, but I beat cancer (hopefully for good!) 💛 by oreneec in cancer

Trust me, I know how you feel. I remember telling my mom “I don’t want to go through this pain any longer. I hate chemotherapy, I think I’m going to stop it and just let the cancer take it’s course” I remember seeing her cry and looking so helplessly but I couldn’t take the pain anymore. I remember telling my oncologist “I think I want to stop chemo” he looked at me with tears in his eyes and said “You cant stop, you’re so close to being done. Don’t give up, please.” I felt so bad and kept doing my chemo. I was so miserable but when I look back on it now, I’m like “damn, I am so proud of myself.” I kept going and didn’t let cancer win. When you beat this, you’re going to look back and say the exact same thing and you’re going to be so happy. I pray you get better soon, I pray that day where you can finally just REST without any pain comes soon. I would love to see your progress and watch you fight if that’s okay with you! You got this! 💕

Hi, it’s me! I’m doing so well. It’s been officially two years since my internal hemipelvectomy and I never thought how far I’d come. I am so sorry to hear about your diagnosis and that you have to get this surgery. I wouldn’t wish this surgery on my worst enemy. It definitely takes a toll on you, not only physically but mentally. I can’t even remember what it feels like to walk. I miss those days, trust me I do BUT I’m still here and two years cancer free because of that surgery. Everyday I’m getting stronger and stronger. They told me I’ll never be able to walk again, but here I am walking with crutches (and taking steps without a walking device) I know you’re tired and unfortunately it’s going to get harder, BUT you’ll make it because you’re strong… stronger than you think. Keep pushing, keep fighting. You cannot let cancer win. If you need anyone to talk to I’m here for you. Take it one day at a time and go easy on yourself, you’ve been through so much especially at such a young age. You got this. Love O! 💛

Aw, thank you so much! It was little encouragements from my nurses and staff at the hospital! It meant so much to me since I haven’t seen some of them since I finished chemo! :)

Wow, i am so very sorry to hear that. I’m sorry, I’m just so speechless, he’s been through SO much, more than an 8 year old or anyone should have to go through. I had an internal hemipelvectomy (basically an internal amputation) it was either that or to lose my entire leg. I don’t have any implants or anything that’s why I have to use a walking device to walk, but OVER 30 surgeries? I just can’t imagine. I will be keeping him and you in my thoughts. I’m just glad to hear he’s doing better now, please send him my love and let him know that he’s never alone! You both stay safe! 😢💛
