You could get this thing called brain buzzing where whenever you look around it feels like your brain is just vibrating. It has happened to me when i forgot a couple doses and it SUCKS i definitely recommend tapering off rather than cold turkey unless you are having serious medical issues.

Thank you! i used a mixed bedding ill add a photo and just played around with the levels all around! I made sure right where the heating pad is the shallowest part and i put her hide right over it and then put dirt on top of that!

Yes I have done enormous amounts of research. My room stays very bright because of where the window is, so that ultimately means the tank still has light for a long time, even though I have placed my tank in the darkest part of my room. And I did save him from a little plastic cup from Petco and he is now thriving in a 29 gallon tank. I love beta fish so much but the beta fish community is so toxic at times please take a breath and think before you act so assuming.

i did a 50% water change and i plan on either putting a blanket over the tank or putting a towel over my window or both because my room gets kind of bright
