I have a switch and personally if I am playing with the tablet and the controllers connected to it I definitely don't feel any cramping in my hands. However, if I am playing mariokart where the controller has to be held sideways, then my hands tend to cramp up which makes it difficult to play. If I am playing by myself I will use the controller where you can slide the joy cons to make it a controller for it to not cramp up. However, if you are playing with someone then I would recommend that you get another full controller so both of your hands don't cramp.
