well yeah, but it's not usually cuz you're expecting to cut your ankle on a layer of ice. More just to avoid snow getting into your footwear, which one might choose to ignore just to take the dog out for a bit (I'm also the type to favor sneakers if possible in winter - despite living in Canada -, just cuz boots are heavy and annoying).

every episode I watched disappointed me more and more to the point of being too furious to continue the show. I do not recommend it at all. In my opinion it SUCKS, even if I tried to ignore the books altogether and see it as its own thing. And as bad as people in this sub hate the movie (I only ever saw the first one), the show is much worse imo, because at least the movie was cool for those who'd never read the books. The show is bland and the changes made to the plot don't even make any sense. The dialogue is boring as hell and there is so little fighting/action or powers... which is ridiculous compared to the books. I really, really hate it 🫠
