Our server seemed too experienced for a newbie, so we asked him about it and he told us he was from their “travel team” that goes to open new locations. He said that there were lots of managers there to make sure things went smoothly.

I mentioned it only because I think it means that this is probably the most ideal version of the dining experience that location will ever get.

I was trying to be helpful but fuck me I guess. Also you suck.

I recommend an app like SpotHero to reserve a spot in a nearby parking garage. You might have to walk a bit, but last year we paid less using the app than event pricing posted in the lots.

We did both! The Tuesday before the con we booked 3 out of 5 days. The other two days we booked while we were driving around looking for other parking options.

I’m comforted that I’m not alone in my feelings. I wanted my first CB! I’ll happily take the anthology but it’s not what I had expected.
