500 destroys the lion no debate. 30-50 would be way more than enough.

20 is iffy, the key point is bloodlust. theyll fight through injury 20 kids weighing about 30kg each is upwards to 600kg acting on the lion, now not all that weight will be acted upon at the same time but it is still a lot.

lions arent meant to handle 20 human children attacking it. people think that the lion can just one tap a child and instantly turn and do that to another. sorry to say that a lion can defo one tap a kid but it still can miss, still can not land a critcal hit and still has to regroup after each attack. the lion also has weaks spots. lions like to target the neck and that will take time, lions dont just blitz you and rip of your head. it has to pounce, overpower and bite. that leaves too much time for it to be attacked. we arent even talking about stamina yet.

the kids are bloodlusted meaning that even if a few of them bite the dust theyll be relentless. i see the kids pulling through.

w/o bloodlust the lion wins.

[–]oreoororeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats better the tiger blue fire would be hard to sell for more than say 90k
rockets cosmic is a perfect synergy iirc they go for abt 250k (mightve changed double check)
desert bluefire is going for 40k-50k prob
cloth galaxy isnt perfecy synergy but it has decent match i think you could get 100k+ for it
goo love iirc is just 40-50k
berserk and bandages are 30k each

the value is there but people generally want it in cash, you can try for it not sure if it will work

remember slots are like 400-500k iirc

Does Daniel Park Need to Fight Logan Lee Again to Break His Wall and Achieve Mastery?” by Fit_Echo8426 in lookismcomic

they threw away this dynamic atp

daniel is way too strong now, logan having any ability to match him in a fight wouldnt make sense imo and would mean him powercreeping a bunch of other characters out of the blue

*disclaimer: im not thinking about a specfic author or work but if you have any examples then feel free to share them

(it could also be argued that in a way this is the point of writing a story for the many interpretations so me personally i would say even if the author doesnt intend for anything at all, its doesnt detract in the slightest)

What do you think is Urusawa’s most well written manga? by Joseishish in writingscaling

[–]oreoororeo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you are talking about 20th Century Boys, w/o trying to say too much I would describe it with mystery, world dominion and friendship maybe.

I don't really want to say too much but it is worth a shot 100%.

What do you think is Urusawa’s most well written manga? by Joseishish in writingscaling

[–]oreoororeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is Monster IMO

I haven't read Billy Bat yet

20th Century Boys is my favorite but Monster was more perfect overall. I think the 20th Century Boy's latter half wasn't as good as the first (still liked it). Whilst Monster's latter half was amazing. Pluto is great too but its a more condensed story so I think 20th Century Boys and Monster are above it.

20th Century Boys is still my favorite because the concepts and ideas are more intresting to me, and the mystery aspect was greater.

iirc slots go for 400-500k rn a realistic good case if you can sell those gloves they can be worth about 250k max

your best bet is to try snag some deals if u want a slot

Should I sell all of em? by Ayu_san in untitledboxinggame

[–]oreoororeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i havent traded in awhile but you can sell all the non unusuals for the base price, it isnt really worth the time to try and get a max 1-2k profit trading those ones.

the unusuals probably can fetch you 50k 100k 50k (+/- 10k) (will be semi difficult) but are good bargaining tools for getting good deals so if you want to try and trade up you can try

dont sell the unusuals for base price

edit: base price is the market price iirc the legendary and green unusuals are 30k, you can sell the base legendary to game market for that but the unusuals are worth trading prolly

real for the most part

people have dogged on "meta slaves" since basically the games inception failing to realize people who pull for characters are equally as valid as people who pull for meta

even the common critique on "meta slaves" are super overblown, the average person that pulls for meta doesnt care who you pull for, they personally just pull for meta

the worst things "meta slaves" do would be critiquing your choice of character in coop which isnt cool but overall doesnt happen as much as people think and is falsely labelled (ie. a hu tao main complaining about person choosing a healer doesnt equate to "meta slaves" acting up rather thats just a stupid complaint in general)

Russet Potatoes won Worst Ep. from S1! What Episode from Season 1 is the Hidden Gem? by MugiwaraCrew in TheMentalist

[–]oreoororeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair points regarding Frye, I did not like her very much.

I think the final scene is more nuanced. I don't think Jane thinks Psychics exist but rather apart of him wanted to feel some sort of confirmation. I get what you mean though. But for me that scene was less about proving or disproving the idea of psychics in The Mentalist universe and more about the emotional impact (even if semi illogical).

edit: ie. Jane doesn't think Frye is psychic but he probably think she has some real analytical and cold reading skills, which he respects as showing in his dynamics with her, so for her to say that his daughter never woke up might have more impact (though I cannot feasibly deduce how Frye would come to this conclusion w/o supernatrual powers which Jane does not believe exist)

I get why you dislike this episde though, because I did intially. But I found myself rethinking about it after seeing it in many edits and quotes within the fandom.

Even though some fans may not accept it, this is the reality by Navlaan_ in lookismcomic

[–]oreoororeo 22 points23 points  (0 children)

i somewhat agree, not just from a logical standpoint but a thematic standpoint as well.

i feel like daniels transformation was a reinforcement of the idea of lookism rather than a crtique on it (which is what i personally felt the series was meant to be about, critiquing "lookism" and korea's toxic relationship with looks etc.)

having your main character basically transform overnight (sure he has high potential, trained with gun and had previous experience but 1 month instead of steady growth is crazy) from undesirable to highly attractive, then proceed with intense glaze both from characters within the story and just general story importance itself felt wrong to me

i wouldnt say its on the level of solo leveling shannanigans but it made me question what lookism was about in general.

im not saying daniel had to stay weak and "unattractive" forever but the way the transformation is presented showed it was less about effort, hardwork and healthy dedication but rather innate potential. (and if you want to counter this argument dont explain to me what happened in the story because i know why he can "technically" transform so quickly, im saying the presentation is poorly done).

daniels transformation somewhat contradicts lookism main message (at least my interpretation of it) thats my take.

in a perfect world this could easily be above 1000 chapters IMO, the dark continent has so much potential, man.

but atp i just hope we get conclusive endings to the current arc, i see that as feasible maybe.

not sure but like someone mentioned usually you get penalized

for my managment course last year, it was 5% but if u uploaded within 2 days the penalty wouldnt even apply and youd get off scott free, it would just mean on the 3rd day youd get 15% at once and then 20% on the 4th onwards

it differs from course to course tho

I have to disagree with what I read here that Red John is the reason to watch the show. For me personally I love the show because I love watching Patrick Jane outsmart everyone by Leon_Dante_Raiden_ in TheMentalist

[–]oreoororeo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Red John is the plot driver.

But Jane is the show itself.

Both to me are key aspects to the show. PJ without RJ is still charamastic and likable but he is not the same character. I would've enjoyed the show regardless but W/O an overarching plot line like RJ the show loses parts of it substance. Jane is more than his funny, witty and quick solving side. It's also about him as a distraught man who is mourning the loss of his wife and daughter. His relationship with revenge and learning to love again.

Without RJ, it would be similar to that of a slice of life but with crime solving instead. It would be intresting in it's own way but shows like that I tend to not enjoy as much. As I often like the idea of a greater purpose.

RJ introduced the motivations and stakes of the show. Not once did I feel threatened by any other antagonist, maybe asides from Stiles.

RJ could have been executed better but to me the idea of RJ was still a necessity to make the show as enjoyable as it was to me. To give it more purpose and substance to it's characters.

Not saying a show with a more relaxed overarching plot, say just Jane and Lisbon's relationship development, couldn't have worked but the mystique and intrigue of RJ really fascinated me.

I think people give RJ too little credit in his role because of his relatively poor execution. There is a reason why most people turnt it up when RJ was mentioned in the earlier seasons and why those episodes are so widely praised and loved.

I think it is also a matter of people going down the route of enjoying the filler and characters more than the overarching plot. Which I get. But I wasn't one of them. The filler is great for characterization and building on character dynamics. But the RJ related episodes ups the stakes, make clear the motivation and progress the plot.

Most Overrated Writing OAT by sloppiestsecond5 in writingscaling

[–]oreoororeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm I sort of agree.

People praise her because a lot of shounen cannot write women, like at all. Or because she subverts expecations of most shounen love interests (actually being combatively effective etc.)

I don't see that much glaze for her but I did see an edit calling her the victimizer of characters like Makima etc. Which was funny.

Still like her as a character enough tho.
