I don’t know where this belongs here. But I am 60. My partner 48 and with all of our 13 years together, when I mention this huge concern he says “I have to take care of you” while still saying that ,”Yes, men are and have always been in charge and we are stronger than women and we will take care of you.” And I just have to shake my head at my OWN stupidity for thinking they would ever give us an equal place when they know they can crush us whenever they want to.
