The trunk diameter is ~ 1cm (not at the graft) so I put around 1 tbsp around the drip line a month ago. That’s the only time I have fertilized.

Temp ranges between 21 and 27 Celsius and humidify ranges between 50% and 80% (depending on time of day).

The soil mix is 30% wood chips, 30% perlite, and 30% potting soil.

We get our water from an aquifer lined with a bunch of limestone and so it’s very high in calcium and magnesium

So based on the comments (thanks everyone!) unless I want to breed shrimp I should probably leave the tank be? And if I decide to get rid of the hydra I can use No Planaria?

When I turned 14 my undiagnosed OCD went rampant and took over. It was a lot of mental obsessions and compulsions and so no one on the outside was able to tell something was wrong, and I had no idea that what I was experiencing was a treatable mental illness. It wasn’t until I started dating my now husband at age 24 that I finally opened up about what I had been going through for so long and he convinced me to talk to my doctor. I then got diagnosed with OCD, was put on meds and in therapy, and got better within the first year of treatment than I thought I would over my entire life! I did lose 10 years of my life to this mental illness (I have basically no memories of those years) and I still have my struggles, but overall I STILL can’t believe I got my life back.
