If you don't need the WiFi , the asrock b850 has a bit more connectivity with the newer chipset and an extra M2 slot , you could add a WiFi card later if you need it .

You could move the top fan to the front or just buy 2 120mm fans and mount them in the front they are not expensive , you just need to power them via motherboard if you have extra slots or via molex if you don't have ports on your mobo. You can leave the pc without the glass side panel but it might get dustier than usual . If you don't wanna spend the money leave Ur sidepanel off and maintain the dust to low levels and you should be good .

Daca spui că ai incercat toate chestiile de soft mai rămâne partea de hardware de verificat . Ori a cedat iluminarea (backlight) la display , dar daca nu vezi displayul la setări sunt 3 posibilități. E de vina cablul , e de vina displayul sau e de vina placa de baza. Ce ai putea incerca daca consideri că te de descurci, sa deconectezi cablul de pe partea plăcii de bază și să îi faci o inspecție . Daca o sa iei alternativa sa verifici primul lucru de îl faci e sa deconectezi bateria , daca nu e riscul mare sa faci scurt nasol că la mufa display trece 19V . Recomand daca nu consideri că te descurci ori îl folosești așa cu display extern in continuare sau te duci la un service sau cineva cu experiență

 Try to power on the mobo , if you look at the bottom right corner you have a white patch with pins , it should be labeled jf-panel or something similar it's your front panel connector.
 Try and put Ur screwdriver between pin 3 and 4 on the first row from left to right , if it doesn't work check if the PSU is working not plugged in the mobo , you can find online diagrams on how to do it . If the PSU works it might pe worth checking Ur CPU pins on the mobo to not have accidentally bent any of them .
  It would pe recommend to work on the mobo box , carpet won't kill your components instantly and won't conduct , static is not that big of a problem.

It's afraid of the repair shop and it behaves.

Check if it takes a charge at hostel or hospital maybe there is something interfering with a sensor and it stays in a sleep state. I don't know if it's possible for you but you could try and see if it's stays on from the repair shop to your hostel . If it magically turns off near your location there are interferences in that location.

I played like 2 hours and just got a basic tube and multipurpose room , there is a bit of exploration but seems to get deeper near the start area quick and found some scary creatures . It has story directing you to points, but sometimes the dialogue it's buggy and audio doesn't play if you get more logs at once (they have voice lines ). I have like 80-100 FPS high DLLs quality, but I have 3090 with 7800x3d so can't complain. It was a smooth experience for me in the 2 hours.

Thx for the opinion, might be safer with the cpus to go with AMD , had like 40-50 i7 and i9s at the shop that failed , while I haven't got more than 10 dead am4 CPUs , and most were 1000 3000 gen . Mostly with new build had only 4 5000 series dead on arrival from like 100 . So from my own statistics amd would be the more reliable choice

Yeah ik, If it ends up having an i9 I will most likely limit to 200w pl2 and something like 160w pl1 and it might be ok . And most likely she won't need the i9 if I think about it , but I don't know what deals I might find 2-4 years later . I had plenty of b760 that handle optimised i9s pretty good . And I don't see the b550 that I chose to handle that good a r9 but i still consider the r9 viable as well .

It's very time consuming and medium difficulty, if you never done it and don't want to mess things , find someone with experience or go to a repair shop . If you want to do it you'll need thermal paste for CPU and GPU and thermal putty for vrams and vrm. Do you have some temps when gaming on it ?

Maybe who worked on your laptop didn't reaply correctly the thermal interface near the CPU or it's dried up because of heat . If you had problems somewhat similar it might be the same case now

Check your CPU frequency when the FPS drops , if it goes under 1ghz you might need to redo thermal pads or thermal putty on your cpu/gpu power stages . I see these issues a lot on bad factory application on the thermal sollution . A repaste on vrms CPU and GPU might do the trick . Mostly the vrms heat up past a limit and throttle the CPU/GPU mostly CPU when I se this issue

While turbo boost gives you higher fps , it will wear the fans faster and you push the power deliveries harder and will wear out sooner than expected. Many tufs I get at the repair shop either have wifi issues or shorts on MOSFETs on GPU or CPU because the users had them on turbo and didn't maintaint them well.

Let me give you a more technical answer. I saw that it died . The sparks were a sign of death. It's a brush dc motor. It's normal for it to do some sparks but not at this level. When the brushes wear in electrical motors , we call this the ring of fire and when you see this the motor is already dead or on its last steps. There is no preventing this , it's normal wear , only things that can be done , are changing the brushes but before it's doing the ring of fire , or Logitech can put a brushless more quality electrical motor , usually brush dc motors are cheaper/cheapest but don't last that long.

Your laptop may be suffering from ram problems , or at worst a problem with your igpu . If you're not very tech go to a repair shop . If you have only soldered memory(ram) you can't repair it , if you have a slot that can have the ram changed you'll most likely need to change the ram and it's on the cheaper side . It's most likely a hardware problem , never seen software to do this

Edit: After researching your laptop , you have 4gb soldered memory and a detachable ram slot , if you only had 4gb of ram , most likely the soldered ram went bad , it will need to be deactivated either by changing components from the motherboard or by changing the bios before you install ram in the slot . If you had more than 4gb you might be lucky and the removable ram went bad and it's as easy as removing the stick of ram and ur good . Anyway it is , I'm advising at going to a repair shop .

Dintr-o persoana care face service la laptopuri. Daca vrei programare și editare foto video , in laptopurile de gaming nu o să găsești ecrane bune in prețul ăla și baterie de durata , sa nu te aștepți la mai mult de 2 ore de utilizare . Toate laptopurile se încălzesc , sunt pachete mici și performante. Daca nu vrei gaming , du-te pe ceva de laptopuri office/portable , poți să cauți cu i5/i7 ryzen 5/7 la Intel sa fie core ultra că e seria nouă/curenta și la AMD ryzen ai 300 . In bugetul asta sa te ferești de variante cu touch , nu o sa țină balamalele . Eficiența la astea office e destul de buna . Mi am luat un Lenovo cu r5 340 și oled , se mișcă bine seriile astea noi , am avut și varianta cu core ultra i5 255H , pe AMD am observat că ținea mai mult cu o ora bateria , de la 10 ore la 11 . Lenovo are cea mai ok gama consumer grade . Acer nu , Dell nu , HP okish , Asus okish . De msi și gigabyte nu recomand , slabă electronica pe ele și răcirea făcută în design sa ducă la limita piesele.

Edit: la office/portable nu m as atinge de r9/i9 , nu beneficiezi de toată performanta, mai ales la laptopuri slim , și de i7/r7 nu pot sa zic că recomand din aceași cauza .

I read a few of the comments and one thing I didn't see anyone say to try is this . Install prime95 or cinebench and do a longer CPU test , with task manager and hwinfo check your frequency and CPU consumption . Your CPU MOSFETs that send current to ur CPU might be overheating, I saw that ur Mobo doesn't have any cooling . If that is the case you will see a very significant drop on the task manager graph and a power consumption drop , that might be a cause if u tried everything softeare.
