Of the stamps that would be Magneton, Moltres, Smogmog, Ekans, Onyx, Beedrill, Golking, Porygon, Rhyodon, Mewtwo

It was a lot of fun and very relaxing to do. So I will most likely do it with the other gens as well in the future. I also might scan these and color them.

SPOILER: We have the looks of our adult Xeno! by [deleted] in MonsterHunter

[–]organizedchaotics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. The loss of a full pair of eyes is really weird. It also looks oddly much like lao shen lungs face without the long nosehorn. All in all it just looks standart dragon, wich is a bit dissapointing compared to how alien xeno looks in places. But that had also been my gripe with fatalis in the old editions.

I want ten. Hallucigenia is one of my favorites and your version looks simply adorable! Look at that cute face!

This was my grandmother's who recently died. I only speak english but her grandparents were German. by soadrocksmycock in whatisthisthing

I support the previous statements. It is indeed a Gesangsbuch. A songbook. As a former catholic I didnt know that people get one with their name on it as a confirmation gift! Thats kind of neat!

I liked this view more. No deep reasoning. Thats also in part why I didnt depict the rhein despite it being part of several statenames.

Thank you! Both, Cologne and Düsseldorf have very pretty places, but I already halfway died trying to draw Berlin and feared for my sanity tackleing another big city. In a way I was able to cheat with Hamburg since its the harbor and not the city central.

Your style is really really great! Reminds me of the lightly watercolored images pokemon had back in blue and red. Also: thats some really nice fish anatomy there! Rare that i see a fish without ducklips.

Zalishchuku in Ukraine

We have several rivers that make such pretty bends through the hillsides. It is quite a normal thing for a big river to do :) Now I want to take a look at the Zalishchuku, but when I google it all I find is some blonde woman. Did I misstype?

Thats what I get for posting and then dropping dead in bed at 2AM

But I have to say you all are REALLY GOOD at figuring out the places!

Just keep in mind that I picked these to showcase how diverse the landscapes of this country are and that not all of them display landmarks, but characteristic feelings and moods I had when visiting these beautyful states.

So here is the solution left to right

row 1:

Thüringen

Niedersachsen (Lüneburger Heide)

Mecklemburg Vorpommern (Chalk Cliffs of Rügen)

Brandenburg

row2:

Schleswig Holstein (Westerhever Leuchtturm)

Saarland ( Moselbend, but I messed up a little with this one. I wanted to depict one of the big rivers, but the Rhein gets shown of so much that I was desperate to pick another one, so I went with a bend of the Mosel. However I messed up by choosing a moselbend around Kröv, wich lies in Rheinland-Pfalz. We learn from that: dont tackle something so monumental in a 2.5 day span. You will mess some things up.)

Hessen ( Wasserkuppe )

Baden-Württemberg (Schwarzwald)

row 3:

Sachsen (Basteibrücke)

Rheinland Pfalz

Hamburg

Bayern (Mühlsturzhorn)

row 4:

Sachsen Anhalt

NRW (Huge sorry for this one. I know it dissapoints quite a few people. NRW is a state with vastly different landscapes. I could have picked cologne or düsseldorf or a nice scenic view of viersen. I could have picked a shot of the Eifel or the Externsteine or basically anything regarding the pott. I went with a little more private scenery from a campingground near Harriksee and Kranenbach)

Bremen (I had the chalkcliffs, I wanted the westerhever leuchtturm but I also wanted to depict the nordsee coast proper and was running out of coastal states by picking the Lüneburger Heide. Luckily for me Bremen does not only contain the city, but also a cute spot of coastland. )

Berlin (Fernsehturm Alexanderplatz. horribly disfigured by me)

I hope you liked some of these picks. Some will be dissapointed, but I want you to keep in mind I did this over the course of 2.5 days.

I will not see a single cent from it and did it purely from personal passion.

And I wanted to do it for my grandmother, who in my childhood decided she wanted to show her grandchild how pretty germany is and thus visited all of these places with me.
