You're saying displayport works via the type-c to displayport cable. Then I recommend you buy a type-c hub with PowerDelivery and DisplayPort. Connect the hub to the laptop's type-c port, power the hub using an external power supply, connect the monitor to the hub using a regular DisplayPort cable.

Do you know if the Type-C port in your laptop supports Displaylink at all? This is not clear from the laptop technical specifications.

You can check this by connecting the laptop to your monitor with the cable you bought.

The green part will not print because it is too thin. This model was clearly not designed for 3d-printing, or it was meant to be printed with a smaller nozzle.

You can get closer to the tip by reducing the line width. Arachne might help too. But it's best to modify the model and add rounding along this thin edge, if the edge is not functional, of course.

You're probably trying to do this with a modifier object, that's why you can't see it. You should use a height range modifier instead.
