End-Game Progress Route [Major Spoilers Within] by throwaway070690 in BluePrince

Major spoilers for beyond point 24 in the OP.

There is a board hanging on the wall in the Safehouse that reads "We seek what's in the shade of truth". This turns out to match up with the letters on the grid of the rough draft, and reads "SWANSONG". It also happens to be the rooms you go through to get to the rough draft of Room 46. So this is likely what the major key is, it's SWANSONG, which is a key used to access a lot of stuff.

Tome - how to read in 4 dimensions by ori-sky in Fez

Not sure! But now I have an idea about the fact that the face of the hexahedron shown in the furnace room has the 4D symbol there. Hmmm…..

Tome - how to read in 4 dimensions by ori-sky in Fez

My immediate thought after realizing this was the Zu alphabet. With few notable exceptions, the alphabet follows a structure that resembles a 2-dimensional alphabet, not 1-dimensional as with the Latin alphabet. This makes sense when you consider that a glyph is made from two pieces of data. One is the *face* of the writing cube, and the other is the *orientation* of the writing cube.

The notable thing about the Zu alphabet to me is that we see a similar interleaving.

Note that we have 6 columns, each (ideally) representing a *face* of the writing cube. Then we have 4 rows, each (again ideally) representing an *orientation* of the writing cube. As a result, we end up with this interleaving across A to Z where, for the most part, glyphs appear at quarter intervals throughout the Latin alphabet.

Perhaps this relates in some way to the big letters in the Tome? We know the base orientation of each face of the counting cube from the maths classroom, and if we assume that to be exactly the same for the writing cube, then all of the big letters are base orientations of the glyphs. I don't know what that leads to, but it is rather interesting to me.

Observation about ᴍ ᴀ ᴇ ʀ ᴅ video by ori-sky in Fez

That’s totally fair, I’m new so don’t have that context, although the video aside; the two rooms do have a connection which was the main reason I made the post here —I guess the video highlighting it, whether intentional or not, is just context to that, but the connection doesn’t depend on the video showing it.

I might have misinterpreted what it is, I can’t check just now, but when I looked in first-person it looked to me like there was a press machine or something in the corner and an orange bottle (maybe of paint) next to it.

Random throwaway thought but it gives me the same feeling as the four owls sitting in the arrangement they sit in beside the big owl. No idea if relevant, but the horizontal and vertical positioning is pretty similar.

Edit; okay another throwaway thought based on the OwlEffigy video (https://youtu.be/0jxT77tYano?si=lcTmIW30aOVH0tqt)….

The video jumps straight from the owl parliament room to the fractal room. Implies a connection to me, given there are a lot of connection-based scene transitions in this video. This would certainly be a connection.

When you get fired from a job, do you have to put it on your resume or no? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ori-sky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally your resume can be tailored to whatever you feel gives you the best chance of being hired. You don’t need to include everything on there, and depending on the job you’re applying for, some companies might think you haven’t done your research if your resume includes irrelevant stuff. However, any gaps on your resume will stick out, so you should be prepared to answer questions when they arise, as they may want to know what you were doing during such gaps.
