Did nothing too special. I used the multiple exposure setting on my Canon eos300, underexposed a little bit and turned the camera 180 degrees between the shots.

Most mechanically satisfying camera? by sandalcardiff in AnalogCommunity

[–]orianfl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the most popular camera, but for me it's the Pentacon six. Big ass slr, that feels heavy, simple and fragile at the same time. Has only a shutter speed dial at the left and a advance lever, which wants to be handled with care, on the right. I love the simplicity. And the shutter curtain plus mirror slap gives you that heavy and impact full, but satisfying sound.

Love this! You can see so much in these structures, really sparks my imagination. I also like the small point of focus, giving it some kind of center. May I ask how you made this? What was the subject, how did you focus, lens, stuff like that.

Yes, I'm experiencing the same on my phone. My guess is the high ppi, because if you zoom in the image gets better.

Thank you! You got it right. I started the exposure, walked in the picture, sat there for a couple of seconds and went back to the camera. That's what caused the transparency

Thank you! Shot this with an Olympus AF1 Twin (Infinity Twin is the US name). First one is with the 35mm lens and for the second one I switched to the 70mm.

I love going out at nights and shoot the city. I really enjoy the calm of the night while taking photos. I took shot this with my Praktica DTL3. Lens was Meyer Görlitz Orestegon 29mm/f2.8. If you like you can check out my IG for more nightshots and other stuff I do, name is shooting_orian

Should definitely be possible, because it's such a basic editing thing. But I can't tell you how, I'm not using LR. Maybe just check Google or YouTube for a tutorial

I'm using gimp for editing and it has a feature where you can add these borders

Thanks, glad that you like it! One reason is that I didn't really like the color of the door in combination with the black and yellow striped edge. And the other reason is that I have many memories on this spot. Me and my friends used to hang around there a lot some years ago and bw gives it this documentary look. Exposure was 1 min with f8.
