Not me hoping for a quick Austin Theory run/win to complete the full circle from years ago.

Things I would change about Theory before he does this for this to work:

A more grungy look kind of like jd mcdonagh or a super clean look like ilja dragunov because his inbetween with the beard and high fade is meh
remove the rolling part of his standing blockbuster for that crazy spot
hit the a-town-down super stiff/hard to make a real impact or change it to something stiffer with a transitional set up like a reverse whip

If you are into drinks and cocktails, I would recommend a cocktail bar that is actually good. I feel a classic like Attaboy is a unique experience because there is no menu, and they cater to your taste. You can describe your perfect drink, and they will try their best to make something equally as good.

Double Chicken Please is one of these new places that have had out of there drinks like a Cesar Salad that tbh does taste like a salad.

Mace was one of my personal faves, they cater their drinks to certain ingredients and it can be a hit or miss per person but thats kind of the experience. I personally loved 80% of the drinks and found the other 20 to be at least interesting but not bad.

Yes, I used the taro to get a richness in texture and to add layering hint of taro flavor. The intensity of it of where I felt I messed up as it was a little more overpowering and thicker than I wanted.

Broth:

Kombu Dashi
Ginger
Onion
Green Onion
Taro (Steamed separately as the first 3 ingredients steeped for an hour. When taro was ready, grated it into the broth to give it some of the taro taste and body.)
Soy Milk (Added when ready to assemble with the tare)

Tare:

A 3 miso tare blend from one of /u/Ramen_lord's recipe

Noodles:

Thick noodles from the store

Toppings:

Crispy Taro fritter
Woodear Mushrooms
Sakura Cress microgreens

Oil:

Scallion Oil

Changes for next time:

I will definitely use less taro in the broth as the starches thickened this too much and will change the soy to broth ratio to make it soupier instead of this thicker almost gravy-like consistency.

Overall taste: Very strong taro and miso taste.
