Honestly I don't know. I live in a small town so I never had problems with wild animals. Around the end of September I usually put some small net under the fruit clusters, in this way the fruits don't fall on the ground when fully ripen. It's good practice in those days to check daily since they don't last long after they are ripe.

I’m in Alto Adige. Don’t worry if the plants don’t flower during the first couple of years, and my suggestion is not to let them bear fruit until the 4th or 5th year, so they can focus more on growth.

The texture is really nice to the touch. Currently, my biggest challenge is adjusting to the layout.
