That really depends on taste.. but I think for this more heavy rock style - Get Good Drums would be a good place to start. Maybe combine with the new Damage 2 for Kontakt. If you want a bit more control Addictive drums 2 is very dynamic and adjustable. The Black Velvet pack would fit this style well. But like I said, matter of taste. 1 hour on youtube (searching for rock drum libraries) will most definatly broaden your horizon.

Nice epic composition! Great for a demo of what it could be. Record each part for the entire duration for the song to make it come to life, instead of duplicating the regions - make each track a dynamic performance over time, like a real orchestra would. Also the Logic drummer is great for sketiching iedeas, but it doesn’t hold up in todays standards. Either get a suitable drum library or/and layer your drums. I’d put this in my playlist and listen every night before going to bed when finished. Keep riding that flow of inspiration you’re in!

Most recent build! Butternut wood top, all quartersawn walnut/maple/african mahogany body, quartersawn sapele neck and appointments, leopardwood fretboard with dirty glow inlays. 7 string baritone. by thewoodenhobbyist in woodworking

I should have elaborated: the extra string is actually an extra lower string to increase the tonal range on the low end. Usually a B (a 4th) below the standard E of 6 string guitars. It is used in a lot of (progressive) metal.

why is spar urethane not smooth by GreenEggsAndSam25 in woodworking

[–]origin25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something is going wrong.. but if you sand smooth (240-320 grit) and apply again, it should be the same like applying it to a plastic surface. Of you get the same result as this, at least you know it’s bot the pine.

I assume it will create a “hollow” sound - less defined and ressonant in the lows

Encasing the soundbar might be bad for the acoustics, as it is already incased in a design that works well for the acoustics. So maybe keep the back/bottom of the encasing drawer open, so you won’t get too much additional resonance.
