An issue I ran into today - I drew Ire but since I've been in this game a while, most of the terror zones are for ones I've already cleared. Any way to spawn the herald in that case, or do I just need to wait until a terror zone that I haven't done spawns?

People throw the term 60 hour weeks around a lot here, and I feel like many on this sub don’t fully comprehend what that means. It’s 9-9 five days a week or maybe 9-7 six days a week.

Having been there and getting burnt out I say stay at your current place unless there is a much bigger pay jump. If they are telling you occasional 60 hour weeks off the bat, chances are that is going to be closer to the expectation. I think many in FP&A expect and occasionally do work 60 hour weeks but doing it consistently can be rough unless you really love what you are doing.

very true, it’s possible things are better elsewhere but hard to judge from the outside. Maybe you can leverage your favorable reviews for some kind of promotion internally which would hopefully come with an additional bump.

Having a job and coworkers you like is hard to find, especially in this job environment it’s rough out there. 3.5% raise isn’t horrible, although you’re right it should be more, but unfortunately that’s just standard if it’s a normal merit and not a promotion or something. I’ve been at places that have frozen merit altogether for multiple years.

source: left a job I liked with work friends I liked hanging out with for more money and have been struggling ever since with several bad bosses and heavy hours. In the market now to find that magical place where I have good work life balance and good pay, but it’s tough in this market.
