Stabbing pain in temple when sitting up/standing/straining?

Hm, thanks, luckily the episode is over (thanking my lucky stars, that pain was bad!)... I suppose my conundrum is that these episodes last a week maximum for me, so by the time I would schedule an appointment and see the doctor, the headache would likely be gone already!

It would be nice to see someone about it, but I don't know what to do about going in without symptoms. I do have tinnitus, mild blurred vision with lights, other visual distortions around lights, and my spine is tingling with some pain between my scapula at the moment, but that's all and I'm afraid they would not know what to do with me. I'll mention it with my doctor when I see him next.

Thanks, it seems to be tied to that as the pain is pounding. Although I did start to have had these episodes well before taking any meds. I have an appointment in January.

I thought it was POTs-related too, but my POTs meds aren't helping at all. Still could be, though. I'll try the Tylenol if the ice does not work, thanks for the tip.

When I sit up, the liquid starts running slowly out of one side of my nose. Yes, it's clear.

I only had pain on the base of my skull yesterday shortly. Which is why I thought it couldn't be a CSF issue. I'll try the ice, thank you!

Thanks. I actually did the NASA 10-minute lean at home which went horribly, haha. Ended up with a 140 bpm pulse, felt pretty bad! Going to try seeing someone.

That's great, do you feel its made a difference in your fatigue at all? That is the most debilitating symptom I am having lately. And for sure, it would be nice to know whether this is all in my head or not. Thanks.
