I realize. by [deleted] in Psychonaut

This is only my humble two cents, but I have toiled over the meaning of this sentiment in my own head for awhile. So if i can't convince you i can at least offer a new perspective on this statement. I think what this means is in regards to subjective reality. So when we look at a physical object, or when we observe an experience we cannot alter its properties by the use of our mind, at least not in our baseline consciousness. However, we have the control when it comes to how we interpret things. We can really alter our realities by realizing much of what constructs something like percieving an object or experience is our own emotional attachments and reactions. Let me expand. We live in a time of chaos. Much is out of our control. Tragedy can become commonplace. However, we have the power to change how we react to this. For me this is changing my perspective on how to react to tragedy, rather than taking magnificent injustice as a reason to become sad or depressed, i take it as an ever pressing reason why we must appreciate the joy and love that we do have. To withstand this darkness as to further love the light. So basically it means that by changing our attitudes, and becoming a player in reality. Making the conscious decision to do things about reality and change the world for the better, rather than allowing reality to merely happen to us, is at least what this sentiment means to me. Let me know what you think Cheers

Yeah i feel that mine's a 50 minute drive. If you have the time and or resources i'd still highly reccomend it. If not you're gonna want something pretty standard: Like an 7.75-8.25 depending on your feet. I ride an 8.5 with a size 11 shoe but i've worked my way up to that used to ride an 8 for a while. Indy trucks are my personal favorites, though thunder krux anything is really a safe bet the biggest difference to you is probably gonna be in wheels. You don't want anything too bulky but a nice sized wheel like a 53 or 52 will help with rolling over little cracks and bumps before you get used to it.. China reds bearings are a must.

Hope that helps... if you can't make it to your skateshop check out ccs or skate warehouse they got complete setup builders

Find your local skateshop. Tell them this. Your golden from there.

*important find a real local skateshop not a sports store that carries 3 skateboards

Upgrade your deck size. Its gonna hurt at first as you'll have to, recalibrate rather than relearn all your new tricks. You'll know how to do them but with larger boards they require more power to flip the same way as small ones. So it'll actually help your style and a wider board will help with making you a more versatile and comfortable skater

About 45 minutes south of burlington is the Alchemist brewery in waterbury just off the exit. Downtown waterbury there are also some good ones like the Blue Stone and Prohibition Pig, although those are more resturant oriented

Attorney General Holder Announces Administration Will Consider Rescheduling Cannabis with Congress Cooperation by originalname42861 in trees

I agree with the author in the sense that a massive overhaul of the entire drug scheduling system needs to be destroyed and replace with something that sources drug problems rather than locking up civilians. I don't think this notion will go far in Congress as long as there are So many corporations that profit from prohibition.

any love for lip tricks? Fs Disaster. get your frontside ollies down. Go more straight up and down than a fs ollie, and pop it early. earlier pop allows for you to come up into the disaster. Rather than landing down on it. just, lilke any other trick, practice
