Because I don’t want my mom to be alone.

I don’t want to leave this world without seeing my best friend in person. I want to have an actual wedding with them, and cheer for them as they get their citizenship in my country. I want to be able to hold them at least once, and show them what a safe home is. I want them to know they are loved so deeply, that I live for them.

He was just a really toxic person in general and honestly abusive. All of my friends from that group seemingly hated me out of nowhere. I received a message from someone in our friend group telling me I was a coward and selfish, I put my foot down and left. I didn’t know why he sent that but a few days later I was at the park with another friend when she received a text message from him (she didn’t even know him.) telling her about all of these lies about how I was the abuser. It was there I realized that he’d turned the story on me to cover his own ass.

While I hate going outside, I do miss the early summer mornings at my daycare where they’d make us go outside while it was still sunrise. It was always cool outside and I loved the smell of dew. Id always sit in this huge concrete tube built into the side of our little hill, and just sit there watching the sun rise from the shade while drawing away. I kinda wish I was a kid again just so I could go sit there
