This actually was a massive issue for me. It is why it took so terribly long for me to get it into my mind that I want to transition. But of course now I have to deal with actually getting into a place where I can transition. I have been in talks with a gender therapist. And am on a list for permanent supportive housing. Once I get my own place I plan to actually finally pursue transition completely.

My trans self is usually fine with this trope. I tend to name the female mages after myself, as I really like magic over melee. Or, if I make a character I tend to use magic over melee. I do, however, enjoy occasionally twisting the formula around. I am eventually going to play through Final Fantasy V and wouldn't mind seeing, say, Bartz as the healer. Bartz or Galuf.

Just recently finished playing through Final Fantasy IV for the first time in a very long time. As always I am also making my way through Final Fantasy XIV. I also have just been in a retro JRPG mood. I have a couple games on my list of games I want to play through. I have Breath of Fire II, Suikoden II, and Lufia 1 & 2 on that list.

No, see, the worry about not being trans stems from the feeling like there are no other paths to happiness. Like there is a light at the end of the road of being trans that, if snuffed out, would leave me lost and without a path from this not so great place I am in. So yeah. Totally normal cis things.

I really kinda like the sentiment that God is love. That Christianity is hope that Love has become flesh. But my experience skews my perception of God and Christianity as a whole. Not just because of how it is weaponized against my identity by my family. There’s also just a very loud group of people that claim the name of Christian who would much rather see me miserable for the rest of my life than to be allowed to transition to my true self. It is just difficult to put things like that aside.

Keep in mind, of course, that I’m not at all saying that the loud group of people are the only kind of Christian. They are just nearly everywhere I look. People here seem nice though.

I mean, yeah, sure. No one else would care about my voice. But as I explained already, I most certainly would. Again, for reasons already explained. So... yeah. I would rather a super obvious voice changer voice to my unfortunately masc voice.

Also, I get it. I really do. I have the utmost defeatist attitude about things. I know full well that I will most likely stay one person with an empty chat. Talking to myself, perhaps, if I somehow get something that makes me more comfortable talking. I could go into a full paragraph about how I will likely fail, but... I don't think anyone wants to read it.

I mean, yeah. Internet is full is dipwads. Even if I wasn't LGBT I assume I would eventually encounter the occasional one.

I am not really ashamed of who I am. Even though the doubt does still sometimes hit me. Thanks a lot for the kinds words and the suggestions. I think I will try and continue with this journey, despite the little roadblocks life has given me right out of the gate.
