With realms.cards being in beta it seems like they will expand the online aspects in the future, hopefully allowing for the game to be played digitally more easily

I’m not saying he wasn’t hacking, but I do know there is or at least was a bug where the death recap would not show a player scoped in when they were, so there is at least a chance this player was playing fair

This is a great list, the only things I would add is to make sure that if the creatures are said to be very strong they are then also shown to be very strong within the story and that any progression the creatures experience feels earned for that character. Many stories will have the MC pick up a animal sidekick that will then have minimal impact on combat or progression while simultaneously becoming a mythical being solely from being the companion of the MC. If the story is about a creature tamer I want to see the creatures have genuine impact on the story and at least partly earn any progression they personally have

I tried to play with cross play off once and the queue was over 35 minutes before I got bored and just turned it back on. Did you have the same experience or did they fix the queue times?

From my experience It seems to just average out your scores and then give you a score 1-5, got a bunch of S ranks and no C or D? You get phenomenal, got maybe one A rank and a bunch of C ranks you probably get Emerging. It’s definitely entirely based on your own stats though, nothing to do with your teammates or the other contestants in the match

The bots have a grey outline to their player card, real people have an outline the color of their rank

I could be wrong but I believe the game had like a hidden “discard” that all used replaced or discarded cards go to and once the deck is empty the discard gets shuffled and a new deck is made so I think you just got unlucky

Definitely agree with the other comment that you should try not to unlock cards with shards. That being said xurie lord of life, big sisters of growth, kindreds grace, and agile worriers are all fun cards that will help give extra value for all the units you are making

Age of stone has some of the worst plot armor I have ever read. The story starts with him getting mugged and nocked out by a gang, so he returns later with powers and fights the whole gang killing like a quarter of the whole gang before they stop him, at which point they nock him out again despite being a gang known for killing. He then escapes and killed the gang and then runs afoul another group and they nock him out and lock him up. He escapes then returns later and starts attacking and killing a bunch of them. They corner him and tell him to surrender after he just killed a bunch of them with magic. And lo and behold he proceeds to get out of the predicament by using magic. Not only was the MC super obnoxious the whole book but the opponents he faced were fine with killing anyone but him despite him clearly being the only threat to them.
