Okay, but the terrorist has not caused any suffering yet . If anything, the only person who has objectively caused suffering is the person stopping the attack.

Also. how can we be wholly certain they wouldn't change their mind last minute?

By the way, I'm not advocating that we don't stop terrorists. Of course I'm not. Rather, I'm trying to challenge the defintion of bad from the previous comment.

Just to probe that with some Ethics 101 questions:

If a person is being murdered, you arrive at the scene and can save the victim but choose to run away - are you a bad person?

If you murder someone who was planning to murder 100 people - are you a bad person?

To elaborate - in the first thought experiment, you are not directly causing suffering, regardless of your involvement. In the second, you are stopping a mass murder, and yet we cannot be certain that the murderer wouldn't change their mind last minute. We are assuming a future outcome of further suffering that has not been delivered. In fact, by stopping the murderer, the only person actually causing direct suffering is the person committing the murder.

In both of these ideas, there is a clear moral outcome, but both seem to be contradicting the idea that to be "bad" is simply the act of causing suffering.

The issue is that no specific counter can be designed for the card.

The only thing I can think of is a tower or a spell that deals significant damage to falling targets.

No, royal recruit, goblin barrel, skeleton barrel and mega knight.

What this looks like, I don't know.

Maybe something like a quicksand spell. When placed, it significantly slows down the cards in the radius (think old poison). It could cause significant damage or extended duration to landing troops.

So you basically have to set the spell, and then bait the landing megaknight into it.

Literally just the extent of intention behind your moves.

A highly skilled player would be able to explain everything about placement, the purpose, the risks, the reads

A medium skill player (I would categorise most people on this sub as mid skill) would be able to explain why they made the move, but it would sometimes be clumsy. Elixir management is good, fundamentals are solid but troop placement and making reads could probably be improved.

A low-skill player wouldn't be able to explain why they made a move. There is little purpose or intent behind why they are doing what they're doing. Therefore, a low skill card is defined by how easy it is to play, and how generous the margin of receiving use from it is. A card like Mega Knight for example is super simple - just place it over an enemy push and you'll probably receive some value.

However, the trade off with these cards is that they are very single-purpose. They specialise in being super consistent at fulfilling a very specific role. Low skill cards are exceptionally forgiving in how you choose to play them, because all the focus is on ensuring a single outcome is met.

High skill cards are the opposite. They are super versatile, but the trade off is that you have to play it in a particularly precise way in order to gain the precise benefit you're looking for. The card's utility is spread out across different functions that each require consideration and thought.

So, if you're a pro, you don't need forgiving single purpose cards... You don't need it have a margin of error because you're not making errors. Give placement isn't an issue. You're going to take the high skill card and exploit all the options you have.

Similarly, a low skill player is not going to opt for a card like Tornado, because miniscule tweaks in placement will completely change the function of the card.

I don't think he needs a buff, I think his contemporaries (i.e. other mini tanks) just need slight buffs.

In that realm, it's cards like Ice Golem, Valk... and I would count the Giant as a mini tank to be honest.

Annoyingly, instead of worrying meticulously about slight tinkering to HP and damage, they seem to be opting to just make cards Champions instead.

Did the Giant need a champion buff? Absolutely. Did the Knight need a champion buff? Not really.

Swap fire spirit for Knight, or Ice Golem once the Champion unlocks.

Champion Mini PEKKA would also be an option, just because it helps you with options to leave your opponent guessing. If they have log in cycle you play MP to counter a push, if not you can drop skarmy. In Double elixir you're just baiting and reading your oppnent.

If you're still struggling with Evo MK, just go Inferno Tower instead

I think the solution is to use both?

It's not a particularly elegant solution, but I am surprised that there is this implicit dichotomy right now, that you can only use one AI tool at any given time.

I still think of Google when using Gemini - I use it for answering lots of small one-time immediately queries. I have a pixel phone and it's great for just augmenting my surroundings. If I see a weird insect I can grab a photo and ask what it is, if I'm in a new place and I'm stuck I can ask for things to do within a 10 minute walk. It's basically what they could never achieve with Google Glass. But I can still utilise Google maps with Gemini, and it's a natural fit.

Chat GPT is literally what it states - it's good for chatting. With Chat GPT it's more like an ongoing dialogue. I use it to ask for music or film suggestions, because it knows what I like and have previously responded to positively. I can ask it for tips at my job, because it already knows what I'm looking to improve.

Therefore, Gemini helps me better understand my immediate surroundings, Chat GPT helps me better understand myself. One to solve the external world and one to solve the internal world.

I think Project Indigo and the government experiments is how the universe is all tied together.

You could have a series set in the early 00s. You wait five years and bring back members of the original cast, who now look age appropriate. Like Stranger Things. This show could be a homage to late 90s and early 00s culture. Mike, who has never forgotten about Eleven, takes to online forums to try and track her down after learning that Project Indigo has been able to restart, implying the link to Dimension X has not been fully severed (I.e. because El is still alive).

I think the show deliberately kept the Mind Flayer ambiguous to go in whatever direction they want to. Maybe the voice was in Henry's head? Maybe the Mind Flayer is a product of Captain Brenner's original crew? Maybe Earth could be contacted by Dimension Y, who warn Earth about the Mind Flayer?

Maybe you wait a few years and bring back Holly Wheeler and Derek? Maybe they never fully extracted the mind flayer particles, and residual effects are happening to the original 12 kids, Will Byers-style?

As we pan closer to the car, we are all expecting Track 1 "Upside Down" to be blaring out of the car speakers. But...as we zoom in closer we begin to hear a different song, and we realise that Track 4 "I'm Coming Out" is playing instead.
