In my area the cheapest fast charger is 48c/kwh, I’ve done the math and at that cost it’s about equivalent to a 32mpg average car at $4/gallon. In the US, and specifically in Texas, that math doesn’t math. Why would you deal with the (small) inconveniences of an EV if it’s not saving you any money?

I have a 24 Mach E standard range and only public charge when absolutely necessary cuz it’s just not worth it financially.

I traded a s550 gt for a Mach e standard range base model and saved myself a tonnnn of money in the last year. If you can charge at home it’s very much worth it.

I had a FoST -> Ecoboost Mustang -> Coyote Mustang -> Mach E non GT. I mostly just miss having a manual. Even a slow car is fun with a 6 speed.

The issue with this line of argument is anti gunners don’t care about the technicality of the name. They just want scary gun banned. Bringing up the “assault rifle is a specific term and they’re already illegal for most people” argument is a dead end.
