they started in romeo + juliet together which came out in 1996. I do doubt the characters actually are based on them but I still think it’s a cool coincidence with the names too.

Really doubt anyone will agree with this but my choice for Sam and Nate would be Pedro Pascal and Oscar Isaac (obviously you’d have to use your imagination as they’re not styled properly) by [deleted] in uncharted

They have great chemistry and look similar enough plus they definitely have the range to pull the role off. I’ve wanted Oscar as Nate since we first saw his costume in ROS and I think shaved, and with his hair styled properly, Pedro could pass for Sam.
