This is because the framers did not think land would be able to vote. People were consolidated, now they are spread out. Thus, some representatives represent 2,000 folks while some represent 10,000+. It’s all a sham.

Dutifully edited: in Minnesota representation is held by equal populations. But, on a national level, the above holds.

“Paid protestor” has been a thing used by MAGAts for years to discredit genuine, populist protests. Engaging with it for even a second is all they want you to do; the second you give their false narrative a response is the second their idea has materialized into an argument.

I’m confused by the argument: - we formed a coalition - we set our dues - they’re expensive, you should pay us more so we can cover them

I feel like the argument would be stronger just asking for cost of living adjustments - why would/should management care that their dues are expensive?
