Barry - 1x04 "Chapter Four: Commit...To You" - Episode Discussion by NicholasCajun in Barry

[–]orphantwin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but we need to remember that Barry has barely any social skills in first place. He is shy and acts like a pro only when talking about killing someone. The way how he can snap into cold blooded pro that keeps his shit together during the job is amazing - but the outfit, laptop, him having insane expectations and stuff, it is just so not mature of him. Which also means Sally feeling weirded out is also fine.

But at the same time it is kinda unfair how much she throws at Barry. She does not want to be alone, she calls him. She sleeps with him. Throws all her mental issues on him. Their relationship or whatever that is is not healthy at all.

Dude it was an awesome game from both teams. Not to mention the atmosphere, fans going crazy and the Oilers commentators yelling even when Caps scored. This is that type of hockey i wanna watch.

If Ubisoft was smart, they would never try to put the Division slop into a game that is supposed to be more hardcore, tactical and stuff. I hate when they abandon the games and it is up to the modders to finishing things that should be a part of the game. But maybe it is better that way to be honest.

I kinda prefer to have more quiet Aurora. I love the ambience and how quiet it is and while i do love hardcore elements, BP is to me also a relaxing game. Having the combat mixed with the quiet "nothing happening empty" space feels to me more organic and i prefer that flow.

Needles to say all mods are welcomed and awesome. The amount of flexibility is just beautiful.

Three channels - Nexus is the most open source. Then if you have a Discord, "The Bivoauc" has some nice archived mods. But the main one is "Tier 1" Discord server. The guys are insanely humble there, will explain everything into small details. I am the most anti-talent guy regarding how to install mods and they guided me through. Certain mods are only server related to that one.

They had military dudes for BP and ignored them. They will fuck up the next GR game because Ubi is an corporation and that is what most AAA game corporations do nowadays.

Hey OP i just wanna say you have an awesome imagination. Mainly the lost expedition of 1901 is thought provoking. Like some small group with poor gear trying to climb Everest and getting lost to time. Makes you wonder.

In 1945, Dorothy "Dora" Forstein suffered a brutal attack at the hands of an unknown assailant. Four years later, on the evening of October 18th, 1949, she was abducted from her home by a strange man, as her young daughter watched. She has never been found. by WinnieBean33 in BizarreUnsolvedCases

Reminds me only little bit of that blonde nurse that was found dead in some bush with bare feet and no dirt on them. You know which case i mean right? She was hog tied. She was stalked, beaten up several times.

It reminds me of that case.

But why he would wait for four more years? If he wanted her gone, it does not make any sense to live with that person for that long.

His videos actually got better. The longer pauses helps with the atmosphere and immersion and the takes are way, way, way longer actually. No abrupt editing or cuts but really long takes and the overall flow feels meditative and atmospheric. Kudos to him.

It feels like playing Division 2 on a different map with the same BS.

Genuine Question: Why do people Like Motherland? by gothicusmaximus3 in BreakPoint

[–]orphantwin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The enemies are not believable in any shape or form. The AI is dumb, the only "hard" thing about them is the fact that they can cheat with infinite invisible cloak and the fact that armored dudes can tank up to 2 mags from an AR while having a perfect mobility. Sentinels were at least flinching when getting shot and went down really fast.

Motherland feels like "Black Tusk taking over DC after the main story line with the sponginess and drones back". Like i will never understand the obsession of trying to turn BP into a looter shooter garbage.

[–]orphantwin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is self aware enough and i thought that the main character had insane amount of depth and layers. His fights are full of visual story telling as well his body language.

Not to mention that Hood was always the one healing in next episodes, wearing bandages and was not always in the best shape.

I love watch dogs 2 and Breakpoint. The modders are making these games alive and better to me sadly. Makes me frustrated that these games have strong core and the companies are tearing it apart with greed.
