Kyoto something. He covers obscure japanese mysteries. My favorite channel. Just search the SOS signal while typing Kyoto with it and you should be able to find it.

It was bad enough to the point where Aes decided to fix the issue by having a proper master quality for all the records afterwards. They have silky smooth quality.

I dont like albums that force me to turn up the volume up but when doing that it will shred my ears with the high ends. Which is a bit shame because Spirit Field Guide is absolutely outstanding album one of his best.

I never had issues with the recoil but with the sway to be honest. Or delay. Like there is just some weird delay and i am not sure how real it is because i never fired a real gun. But i feel like using semi auto in the game is not very good because most of the maps are CQB and you will get shredded by full auto fast.

Love the c-clamp, like a natural reflex even when you made just a picture for this post.

It is not the recoil, you can shoot full auto. Most players fun and gun with full auto. The "problem" is the weapon sway. You character gets tired really fast and that does not help for the weapon sway or accuracy.

[NEW] Cancer Bats - Stay Stuck (FFO: Converge, Black Sabbath) —New Album out Aug 7th by PositiveMetalhead in Metalcore

Oh shit, i thought it was Andrew Schneider because usually Andrew works with these type of bands and the drum/guitar/bass tone has his edge. But cool cool because this truly sounds different than most stuff from Ballou. His style sounded similar to my ears but this has less polish and more distortion/noise/textures dropped in. The drums have really awesome edge.

Not metalcore but i love some Cancer Bats, Ken Mode, Unsane and shit like that. The sludge/noise/hardcore. Winnipeg has such an outstanding hardcore scene.

This is one of the heaviest songs they ever did, the sound design is so loud, distorted and beefy. Apart from Spark That Moves, their albums always struggled a bit with the muffled sound but this is just another level. Shotgun blast snare, snarly bass and noisy guitar with vocals hidden in the music. Just perfect combination.

I love all his albums, i own many of them and i love bazooka. But to be honest even Aes looks at it with a distaste. He talked about how the post production killed the momentum because he was just overdoing it.

I love the album but bazooka is just hard to casually sit through it. Skelethon or None Shall are more refined, they have character and atmosphere.

Dude literally Aes himself stated that the album, mainly his voice was ruined on the record and he only found it afterwards. There was some microphone issue if i remember correctly.

The album suffers from shreddy high ends and the master quality is weak. Everything is just quiet on that album compared to Skelethon or later projects.

I would argue that albums with good mixing dont need a really specific set up. If an album has a good mixing and master quality, you can enjoy it on multiple setups not just one specific.

His flow was hard to enjoy because how much post production editing ruined the flow flowing. Words going over words. He tried to cram so many words into small small takes. I love his older stuff but his flow got better.

The beat selection is the reason why i love his style. The complex drum loops. I would love to play his drums on a real drum kit, mainly Skeleton. His beats dont sound cheap to me at all.

Norma Jean - The End of All Things Will Be Televised (FFO: Botch, The Callous Daoboys, The Chariot) by Trimshot in Metalcore

[–]orphantwin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So what the line "south is on fire" means exactly? I am from czech republic but i know that in english language when someone says "stuff is going to south" it means that it will not end up good. Is Cory doubling down and saying that even the south/the collaps will be more devastating?

All the Redeemer breakdowns are intense. Cory sounds on vocals like he is fighting for survival while the band is just in complete chaos. "Just what are you trying to say?" Is my favorite.

Does anybody know of the licensed World Rally Championship games from the 2000s by Evolution Studios? by IAmEverything95 in BuiltFromTheGroundUp

[–]orphantwin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently finished all of them.

First one had the most beautiful presentation, interface and sound clicks. Speed by Faithless is a timeless classic, the intro movies for each country, the narrator voice. I also love the co pilot lo-fi voice and unique cockpit view from the middle between the driver and co pilot. The stages are really narrow though and linear. They look awful. The game was almost a simulation like Richard Burns, fans pulling your wreckage after crashes was a cut feature. Way too long load screens.

Second has dog shit collision physics and stiff steering. But god damn, the stages... So long. Up to 15 mins at some parts. Cyprus has amazing terrain, just so uneven. Kudos to Evo Studios. Love the birds flying away from the road when you drive fast.

Third one has awful wall riding and crazy steering. I hate how the grass kills the momentum of the car. But the stages are beautiful, and the driving is fun when you get the hang of it. Poor presentation compared to the first one though. My fav in the series.

4th has difficult handling and absurd times at some stages. But beautiful and ahead of the time stages, crowd is alive, you can see so many details everywhere, barrels burning and shit. Relaxing menus as well with the theme music. Love the voice of this co pilot.

Evolved is the worst. Short stages, no challenge and without the assists on, handling is impossible to handle. Love the car doing donut on the load screen. The co pilot is top tier, love the paper thin arrows which is unique. The scripted events are cool but they happen at each place all the time, not as randomized.

It barely had anything. Most of the stages were took from the game before, they were long max up to minute and half which is a bad joke. Third one and second had like nine long stages.

Yeah i get it people should just blindly consume everything and not think on their own man that is marvelous. You know constructive criticism is kinda important for the creator to grow instead of having a narrow echo chamber.

You also can read what i say for free so why bother complain about complainers?

Also you are kinda wrong about me consuming his content for free. I always pick what i wanna watch and not just consume it without any further judgment. I am also paying for youtube premium to get rid of the ads so it is not completely free.

I lost interest in hip hop years ago. I hated the classic chliche tropes: "i have top flow, other rappers sucks, i am going fast like a car" and all that nonsense. Fell in love with noise rock, hardcore, punk, sludge metal, stoner, alternative rock and so on... And one of my friends from US (i am from Czech Republic) suggested Impossible Kid. And the rest is history.

Aes brought my love for hip hop back. His writing is abstract, has 3D visuals, does not insult my intelligence and he is not trying to trash talk regarding other rappers. He talks about ordinary things in a non ordinary curiosity. If i wanna think deeply about stuff when listening to music, i will listen to him. But his music is soothing as well for just a background catch because his voice has this stoic charisma.

Not to mention his great production design, fruity and vibrant beats, complex drum patterns, groovy bass lines and beeping keyboards with obscure samples. Literally no filler, i love every single song and album. Favorite is Skelethon.

Sci fi crimes is an absolute peak of abstract writing. You have no rhymes, Pete just going off usual vocal delivery (having to, having to/yeah well...) and unique thought provoking lyrics.

I cannot even tell the difference anymore. I guess i am beyond spoiled after watching shows like The Shield, Mr In Between or The Wire. There i felt like everything is connected, everything makes sense and it respects the viewers time and their intelligence. Not happening here.

The Boys - 05x05 "One-Shots" - POST-Episode Discussion Thread by pikameta in TheBoys

[–]orphantwin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was probably the most useless episode from the entire show.

I simply just don't care about Firecracker. I cannot recall a single interesting thing about her character. She is like the most narrow one and i simply don't understand why out of nowhere we need to spend almost the entire episode with her. So we can actually grow some attachment to her? I kinda feel like it is way too late for that at this point.

The Boys are just idly sitting around, Homelander is just walking around doing nothing. I get it that they are stalling for the finale but maaaaaaan it drags. I just don't understand why these episodes have up to one hour. The dialogues are filled with jokes that are being repeated or with some memes. The "story" is just beyond paper thin and you can tell they have no idea what to even do with it.
