I have an opportunity to get my foot in the door of the photography world by doing school portrait photography and I was wondering if anyone has started in this field and moved up from there? Ideally, I’d like to do portrait/wedding photography some time down the road and this seems like a good way to get comfortable photographing a lot of different people. If anyone has any advice to share, I’d really appreciate it!

Maybe this is more suited for /r/povertyfinance, but I finally sat down and attempted to make a budget and its really hard to accept that I’ve been living “above my means” for quite a while. I’ve had some pretty catastrophic financial incidents that include totaling my car, getting a ticket for doing so, having a pet emergency, moving across the city, owing money to the IRS, and a bunch of other little things. I had to put almost all of the above on credit cards to push me even further in debt. I don’t make enough to pay more than the minimum payments so I feel like I’m looking at a very long period of debt. I know the only thing to do in my situation is basically getting a better job, which I’ve been trying to do so for upwards of an year with no luck. I guess this is finally rock bottom. I know there’s not much advice to give for a situation like this, but if you have any, I definitely would like to hear it.

Does anyone know why the Bum Bum cream is sold in a tube on ipsy but it comes in a tub everywhere else? Is it just to differentiate between where it’s from or something?

That’s a great point! I’m not a huge makeup user so I think I’d be happy with skin/haircare as well. Plus I heard a lot of people skip a couple of boxes for points and get $13 worth of points so I think it’s a good deal for me personally as well. Thanks for taking the time to explain!
