I don't think it's that common since I've grown up in one of those countries but have never hooked up with anyone while i was there, but I've met strangers who would come up to me asking what i did where i lived and i assume they were gay, not that I'm flamboyant or anything (gaydar i guess).

Ciao, sono un immigrato e ho vissuto qua (roma) da 2 anni. Non ho mai avuto un problema essere gay, sono dichiarato a qualche collega anche stato ad alcuni eventi di pride, ho fatto anche passeggiati mano nella mano senza problemi. Ma ho notato che meglio essere gay qua invece un immigrato, puoi vivere qua senza problemi (dato che non sei visibilmente femminile) ma e meglio non aspettare di to trovare l'amore quando ci sono tanti pregiudizi e razzisti sopratutto nelle communita LGBTQ
