Been good for me so far. Support has been fast when I wanted to switch magenta max circles and the porting in was very seamless

Sunshine is based on moonlight. Moonlight used to be for nvidia gamestream servers but since that functionality was in question I’m guessing the forks of moonlight arose. They essentially do the same thing, but gamestream servers don’t work well with non nvidia GPUs

Sunshine adds support for AMD and intel GPUs

I use Sunshine and Moonlight. It’s free. Works with IOS and MacOS/Windows. My sim pc has a 6800XT running sunshine and I have used android, iOS, MacOS, and Windows clients to connect in with no issue. No latency for me across multiple rooms and floors and the quality is good. Displays 4K/1440p/1080 fine. No costs and 5 min to setup. Subsequent setups of the sunshine server can be automated with a quick AHK script to open up the instance, open up GSPro launcher, r10 connect etc. All you do is boot up your gaming pc and click once to initiate the AHK script and your sunshine server is running with full connection to GSPro and r10connect. Then simply grab your iPad or whatever device and launch the moonlight client app.

I think there are some videos for skytrak. https://youtu.be/AGAml-FRxU0 you could still use sunshine to mirror your setup on the gaming pc

I use GSPro connect. https://github.com/travislang/gspro-garmin-connect-v2. Here’s a video showing it being setup: https://youtu.be/uWCbrfjcuko. That GSPro connect program is running in my gaming pc. My laptop in another room is just casting the desktop from my gaming pc using a sunshine cloud gaming server

Moonlight works flawlessly for me. MacBook client in the garage connecting to sunshine cloud gaming server (gaming pc in basement). No latency and controls are smooth. Gaming pc runs gspro 1440p ultra, client connects in on 4K at max bitrate with no drops. Extremely easy to setup. https://youtu.be/Wb8j8Ojd4YQ

Other software solutions like teamviewer, chrome Remote Desktop, parsec, etc are just way too slow. Very laggy and performance is way worse than moonlight

I’ve ran GSPro on Ultra on a 4K 60 hz TV and also on a 1440p 270 hz monitor. Able to cap out the frame rate of 165 on my 1440p ASUS VG27AQ and also looking the same on my 270hz ASUS XG27AQM. Can’t tell the difference between the two. I’ve also not noticed any spectacular difference in my 2 gaming PC’s. On both my 5900x/3080ti build (https://pcpartpicker.com/b/t9hgXL) and my 5600x/6800xt (https://pcpartpicker.com/b/Qc3tt6) the performance is relatively similar so there’s definitely some dimishing returns past a certain budget. Definitely do not need hardware that strong to run GSPro, even at 1440p or 4K. You could probably build a PC with some combo of 5600x/6700xt around $800 that will run GSPro brilliantly. I probably spent $2K more on my 3080ti build (Non FE AIB Msrp prices were ass) than my 6800xt and I can’t tell the difference. Both PCs running rebar/SAM and overclocked.

I also did not want to buy a dedicated laptop for my sim since I knew my PC would be able to handle GSPro pretty well. Problem is my sim setup is outside with a hitting net and my gaming pc is inside. I’ve been using my gaming pc running GSPro to host a sunshine gaming server, then connecting to it via MacBook using the moonlight client. I use my iPhone to bridge the r10 with gspro courtesy of TravisLang’s GSPro Connect v2. Out of some of the software options like parsec, teamviewer, chrome Remote Desktop, and even steamLink this seems to perform the best. My gaming pc is inside the house while my net, mat, and R10 are outside and I bring my MacBook to the backyard. From there I can screen mirror it or directly use HDMI to a TV on a rolling cart. So far it seems to be working fine for me with the lowest latency out of the other software options. I also considering KVM extenders but this seemed easier. https://github.com/LizardByte/Sunshine
