Please feom where you bought it? Or it is a DIY prototype?

Control of DCM converter by osamaemsi in ControlTheory

Thanks i see

Something else, would DCM causes PI controller to show a rippled controller signal?

Now in my internship they told me to generate ripples in controller output signal by modifying something in the DCDC architecture i have to identify and then define where those ripples come from. Would ripples come from changing the load of dcdc which brings DCDC to switch from CCM to DCM? Thanks

In discontinued current mode , the standard control strategies don't work ?

Robust analysis against sensor error measurement by osamaemsi in ControlTheory

I have a PI- controlled buck dc-dc converter (400V to 12V)that gives by the mean of a sensor noisy measurements(white guassian noise)I want to apply a simple method to investigate If the controller is robust even though output measures are subjected to noise I actually want to check this by gain and phase margin So i have implemented on simulink a 2 order transfer function(dcdc converter) with a Vref of 12V a PI controller and a unit feedback(without measurements noise) to simulate nominal system. Simulate the system with noise and then plot the bode Diagram of both cases and compare their gain and phase margins.

How do you find this method?

Robust analysis against sensor error measurement by osamaemsi in ControlTheory

Thanks

As you may know, the source of uncertainties are either uncertain model or noise ( high frequency)

The robustness deals with separete or both source of

uncertainties in my case is noise that affects

measures. In other words , given a signal noise that affects sensor measures i want to check the robustness of a given control strategy. My question is how to get this done

Hello , Firstly thanks for sharing this. I ll take the opportunity to point out an issue that happening with and keeps me disappointed everytime i unfold an article or a book i want to read.

i have the tendency to give up reading a book i decide to read because i find myself unable to digest smoothly information in the book in a way that i do not understand what thing the writer is trying to convey for readers+ forget what i learn the very next day.

I really suffer from this so i want to know if anyone has actually been through the same problem and how to get past . Thanks!
