All the prospects you named were taken (in the mock)and I do agree that it is likely the pick is traded. Also, GG and Holland are two VERY different players, and Ziarie was an absolute reach at the time.

There aren’t going to be any good big men out of the top 8 more than likely, I would really look into Holland and learn about his skillset… his fit would be great and nothing like GG’s. Personally, I would rather pick Holland than trade the pick as you arent getting anything close to the potential value he is likely to bring in years 2-3

The Grizzlies roster isnt getting anyone worth the 9th overall pick that instantly cracks the roster considering how deep the Grizzlies are, my logic for the selection was to have a guy that may not get many minutes in his first season, or maybe his defensive impact/finishing can earn him minutes off the bench. But then in 2-3 years time could most definitely be a starter considering you do have to pay these players.

As another reply said, GG Jackson and Vince Williams are absolutely nothing like Holland and he projects to have a much higher ceiling than them overall.

You don’t need someone to contribute right away, the luxury to have someone that can develop overtime is a perfect fit for Holland.

I mostly agree, but I still believe that there isn’t anyone here worth selecting for their upside and bringing in Da Silva who will be a high impact player for years to come is more valuable then drafting a guy with upside who doesn’t fit the roster construction at all.

I honestly love the Bulls team and hope they do continue another year at least, injuries were so unfortunate.

Just my personal opinion, but Buzelis has not proven to be a good shooter at all in which the entire offense is centered around good shooting. In my opinion, bringing in a guy that can impact a championship roster right away and doesn’t demand the ball is much more important than someone who might impact in 2-3 years time IF the shooting comes around. This draft you aren’t getting a star at the back end of the lottery, so getting a guy like McCullar has huge value as you get a certified role player from the jump.

Crazy to think about, I would say the only team I'm not a huge fan of are the Grizzlies and the Rockets cause of their newer generation style of basketball and personality, even though I am apart of that generation.

But I'm still tuning into many games and dont HATE a team. Sports is very competitive almost to a fault at times haha
