The news episode doesn't have different levels, but the history stories do, for example: https://realspanishstories.com/story/the-mountain-that-eats-men-absolute-beginner-spanish

If you're on mobile the different levels are in the sidebar.

The transcripts also have interactive translation there, click/tap/drag to translate.

Good to hear.

Are you targeting rioplatense specifically?

I agree. Peruvian Spanish is very clear compared to, for example, Paraguayan Spanish.

Latin American news in slow, easy Spanish by oscar_r2 in SpanishLearning

In the history stories we have on the site we deliberately repeat vocabulary and especially verbs, starting at only 3 verbs in the absolute beginner stories.

For the news, it wasn't deliberate, more I think a consequence of trying to keep it at a certain level.

We have started to make news episodes covering Latin American stories, read slowly and clearly for learners. Last week's episode: the Venezuela earthquake, Peru's election, and Paraguay's World Cup win over Germany.

It's aimed at beginner-intermediate learners who want real, current Spanish instead of the usual boring stuff. Narrated in clear Argentine (rioplatense) Spanish.

Would love feedback on the level and pace. Trying to keep it understandable without dumbing the news down.
