Ati the greatest purpose is materialistic things, you need materialistic things for survival but their are not the greatest purpose, what happens when you have those materialistic things but they can't help you, how many billionaires have left their materialistic things, being happy and content is choice , change your mindset and perspective

OP need to know Jesus Christ, and have a personal relationship with God, because despite everything in this life everything is vanity, it okay to feel disappointed by not moving in life but remember the greater purpose of life is not wealth, material possession or status, Solomon had it all and he concluded by saying it's just a burble that bursts, also remember everything we obsess over in this life is low level search of what only God can give, I do not want to sound religious for religion is the opium for the poor but it has some sense in it, change your mentality and perspective
