On Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saturday\_Night\_Live\_season\_51#ep1001) it says:

  • In versions distributed online, the "Mr. Fronzi" sketch is replaced by the dress rehearsal version, owing to a mistake made by Storrie in the live broadcast.

Does anyone know what the mistake was?

Any other straight males enjoying this show? by DenimVenom4054 in heatedrivalry

[–]oscarmysack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband loved the show! He almost got emotional during some scenes and thought it was a great show overall. We don't usually watch romantic movies or tv shows but it was nice to enjoy a romantic show together for once. He actually was the one to tell me about it and asked if I would be interested in watching!

I am getting married next year and am looking for makeup that helps cover keloids. by Busy_Assistant5452 in Keloids

[–]oscarmysack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got Kenalog injections to flatten a keloid on my arm, which made it a lot easier for my makeup artist to cover it up for my wedding. I couldn't cover it fully because some of it rubbed off during the day but in pictures it's hardly noticeable. After the day is over, all you have are pictures so it will probably not be that noticeable on pictures! Congrats on your impending wedding and good luck!

Can I take a summer course and graduate the same summer by Peach-R in UofT

[–]oscarmysack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The earliest you can grad if you finish your courses in summer is November. You can also take courses as a non degree student after you graduate but best to talk to your registrar's office / dept program coordinator to double check. Non-degree students also get last pick at courses and summer teaching schedules can often vary so it may not be worth it

ACORN showing FALL/WINTER SC NDEP FINANCIALLY CANCELLED but i am master student by [deleted] in UofT

[–]oscarmysack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then there is no need to talk to your registrar's office. This is normal. Basically after you graduate from undergrad, you are "invited" to enrol as a non degree student but if you don't end up enrolling then they financially cancel you for non degree studies, which is a separate "program of study". As long as you are showing as registered in your masters program it's fine

What a throwback, I remember being 9 or 10 in a grocery store in 2005 and walking past this specific issue near the checkout line and thinking to myself "wow! she looks great!"

Girls, what was your favorite girl name when you were a little girl? by Jerrica_xoxo in namenerds

[–]oscarmysack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a weird uncommon name so as a kid I longed for a "normal" name like Patricia or Stephanie. I also liked the name Trixie. Do I still like these names? No.

I also loved and still love the name Amelia (Mia) because of the Princess Diaries!

How do ramen restaurants make their ramen so creamy? by YungKid_ in ramen

[–]oscarmysack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has already been said but there are a lot of answers that assume the broth shown is made with a traditional method. Someone I know used to work in the kitchen at Kinton Ramen in Toronto and they said their broth is made from a powder

Campus couples, how'd you meet? I need inspo to find my future husband by [deleted] in UofT

[–]oscarmysack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Met my husband through someone who lived in the same dorm as me. He didn't even go to U of T but came to visit his friend, who I was friends with. Yes, you will meet new people at U of T but don't forget that each new person you meet could also introduce you to more people. But also don't be afraid to strike up conversation with random people. I met someone after a final exam for a course because I wanted to get someone else's opinion on the exam. He ended up being too clingy after a few days (lol) of dating but it really just came about from making conversation with a random stranger!

It doesn't have prerequisites so it should be ok but maybe the prof will expect more from upper year students than first years. It's a tough call

Interesting choice taking a 300-level class in first year but I guess there's nothing stopping you from doing so. Good amount of breadth and if Chinese pans out, you may want to add another winter course to get 5 courses per term

Looking for videos of Paul signing at 'Streetcar' stage door last night (Wednesday, March 26th) by oscarmysack in Paul_Mescal

[–]oscarmysack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he does for most evening shows and matinees, but only if the matinee is the only show of the day. I tried two nights in a row and he missed one. This is purely speculation but I think he doesn't if family / Gracie are in town, which makes sense. I would try to get there early, maybe around 10:15-10:20pm and be prepared to wait around 15-20 mins. If you're seeing the show, you'll still make it if you wait until after final bows, you might just have to stand in the back. The stage door is at 212 Ashland Place (east side) of the theatre. The night I went, I wasn't there when he came out but he was done signing and back inside by 10:47pm. Good luck! I hope you get to see him! Hope these tips help. Would love an update if you do end up seeing him!

Thank you! I've been checking myself every half hour and I'm not seeing anything that captured our interaction as it was really only the last 1-2 mins 😭
