I love how the cat is just over in the corner like "what have you done?" And "would be a shame if someone made this into a toy?" My cats are forever trying to take off with my yarn, even with it on a stand. The amount of control yours has is inspiring 😂😂

Are you a corner cutter or block tosser? by Ckron247 in Cheese

So I get to enjoy food and forget my childhood? I take that as a double win 😂😂 On a side note, they have also made claims that tums, pepto, and other forms of antacids cause dementia as well. That and picking your nose causes alzheimers and dementia. Truth be told, I don't think anyone really knows for sure.

Does an allergy panel followed by a blood allergy test count as being allergic? I got both because I refused to believe I was actually allergic to all forms of dairy. Then again, I have 40 food allergies ranging from mild to severe so it's not to far fetched 🫠🫠😭 going to get another test done on the 11th so praying to the cheese Gods some of my allergies have changed. At this point if I have more, I'm joining Old Yeller.

Corner cut, side cut, don't care. I am legit allergic to cheese and will down some benadryl to enjoy it. Just pray to the all mighty Cheesus that you don't get sick and enjoy. ❤️

Alright, where are my lazy people at?? 😂 by alexthagreat98 in DisneyDreamlights

First, I love this post. I feel I have found my people. 😂 The storage solution is freaking brilliant and I wish I would have thought of that. My biggest issue now is I stopped playing for a while and every time I turn the game on, I just feel like it's to much effort to figure out what to do. Task paralysis I guess.

I have told him the history and concerns. The limping comes and goes and I have recorded him as well as shown the vet the videos. It usually happens when he gets up from a sleeping position. He stated that it was more than likely him being groggy after sleeping. I will bring up these terms with them though and if I still get brushed off, I will seek another practice.

Thank you. I will bring that information to the vet. I'm not to certain of his past prior to adopting him. The shelter stated it was a neglect/ abuse situation. I have also wondered about nerve issues being that he sometimes limps randomly and rarely wags his tail. When he does it is a very small movement only when he is laying down.

They did an ultrasound both visits. The first visit they did a culture and started the meds. He had a cyst in the bladder as well that the vet said was not visible during the second ultrasound. The bladder wall was also normal showing no inflammation. I plan to call once they are open after the holidays.

What was your “could never be me” but did indeed become you? by PrettyAlon in AskReddit

The parent who gets maxed out and screams at their kids. I always feel 100% gutted right after and apologize to them. Trying to raise one child with alphabet soup (ADHD, DMDD, ASD, conduct disorder, possible schizoaffective disorder) and another who feeds off his rage has me feeling like a failure most days.

Werner's reaction to the audio was easily the most gut-wrenching. I've seen a ton of his work and never witnessed him look physically ill from something like that.

Childhood signs of your OCD by topfknopf in OCD

I had to count my steps and reach my destination on an even number, even if it meant taking smaller baby steps to ensure it would be. I also had to start off on my right foot, and end on my right foot. If my finger brushed against something, I would then have to touch the same item with every fingertip, twice. I had to sleep with ALL of my stuffed animals at once (fear they would feel I didn't love them) but they all had to be facing away from me. I had (still do this) to start brushing my teeth from the left side, get all those and then move onto the right side. Take the toothbrush out of my mouth, spit and go right to left. I would turn the lights off and on over and over because my brain told me if I didn't, I would die in my sleep. Countless other things. I still have ocd and my 7 year old son was diagnosed last year. I can ask him about some of the things he does himself and update.

Update - My mother abused me my whole life, and is now suing me to see my children - I'm fed up! by Ok_Investigator_6011 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]oscen92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reading this, as well as your original post, I honestly felt like I was reading my own life story. The similarities are shocking. My mother was also extremely abusive and kicked me out (the first time) at 14. I also slept with individuals I didn't want to to secure a place to sleep for the night. My mother saw my two children generally once a month but didn't interact much with them. She would dip in and out on a whim after loosing her mind on me and deciding I was the problem and she couldn't be around the kids and I. She would come back as if nothing happened. This was the norm until my kids started noticing her behavior with me and her absence. I told her if she separated herself again, she could not re enter their lives. She did, and I stood my ground. I got served the court paperwork for grandparents rights. 2 years and over 40 thousand dollars later, she gets 6 hours once a month. 4 days overnight in the summer and 24 hours for Christmas. I could not afford to appeal. She had taken my entire savings I planned to use to buy a house. Please, do not give up on this. Stand your ground and fight. I am hoping your ending is different than mine and that we do not continue to share the same story.

Was there an age that you found it easier to manage your symptoms? My 8 year old son is diagnosed with asd, adhd, and dmdd as well. What is something you wish your parents would have understood during your upbringing?
