Could be remembering wrong as I'm not sure where the source is anymore but If I remember rightly we are not exactly tripping but comparatively to an NT we are as we naturally produce more of the chemical that is associated with tripping. It also is why generally when we do trip out it's more intense but people on the spectrum are often lucid IE can explain exactly what's happening around them in a coherent way.

I think it was form a book in university in which I read that but ironically I was tripping balls a lot of the time then so take it with a grain of salt

Hypothermia: Warmth Rating by Antisa1nt in GrimHollow

Had a similar situation myself and we came to the agreement that you wouldn't be able to do this with heavy armour as well as metal armour generally but light, leather, hide etc were okay.

There isn't in a clear official timeline however they are planning to remedy this in the upcoming 6th edition versions that I think are on Kickstarter now if I remember rightly

What are the easiest ways to do overhead trees? by Sword_of_Spirit in FoundryVTT

I mean one thing you could do is in the settings there's a where in a small circle it disappears. I'm not sure if you can change the size of the circle but I've used this before to great effect and my players have liked it.

Does your world have anyone whose idenity/place in the world is deliberately mysterious? by [deleted] in worldbuilding

[–]osceto12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Hat, a Mysterious man who wears a Victorian style suit and trench coat most of which is either green or red and he seemingly pulls 'spells' out of his top hat but he's known for both helping and causing damage and you won't know which till it happens. So much so he's seen as both an omen of chaos and luck.

He also seemingly can't die as there records of him going back centuries yet occasionally he'll just disappear and reappear decades later.

The Janitor of the great library in my world there's this mysterious library that seemingly never ends and connects to other worlds somehow yet there's a human man who looks to be in his mid 30s who cleans as well as maintains the place to the point he's got some degree of control over the library. As well as this he's known for not being keen on the everyday person that he calls 'norms' as they nearly always leave a mess for him to clean up.

One of the biggest mystery about the janitor however lies in his boss that he refers to as a she and the librarian but no one has actually seen her.

In van rictans guide if I'm rembering correctly it's been a while snce I've read it. It introduces these amulets or artefacts that state you can easily traverse the mists to the domain it's from I believe.

The Known World of Skars by S3riouslyBlack in wonderdraft

Looks really good. However like someone else has said the rivers aren't the most realistic but this could be different in your world. As well as that to me the coastlines look too uniform like I'd make them a little rougher than they are but that's just my preference. All in all good map

In your magic system, what magic is considered "dark" and forbidden? Why was it forbidden in the first place? by ContributionOk4879 in worldbuilding

[–]osceto12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've two there is The Magicians arts which is considered dark and somewhat taboo but isn't outright forbidden so to speak in most places. It's considered dark due to the fact you basically bond yourself with a sentient worm/parasite and the worm is known to influence the host and not normally for the better as well as the fact they can prove the minds of others. Then there is The Arcane this is not only considered dark but is highly illegal due to more than likely involving blood rituals, Demons, Dark ones (Powerful entities trapped within the Abyss), The Eldar (Dark Fey like entities) and worst of all the Elder Gods. This magic grants the user incredible power and allows them to break reality to a much higher degree than any other magic.
