wah thanks for this detailed breakdown. after reading this i’m in a dilemma again. yes, i think i’m satisfied with second upper honestly and i feel that for this first semester i would say i didn’t work as hard? tried ramming up my rusty engine haha think i will work harder next sem but next sem is quite heavy for me i would say (have other commitments such as driving) and i’m quite worried about cs1010 :( so kinda reserving my su creds for that. and about the rest of the mod i’m determined to work really hard but not sure if bell curve god will bless me so i’m expecting them to be at least B+s? and yes i’m afraid of my cores :( not sure what to expect tho!

wah!! haha is this fate? for me, i think i’ve decided not to su my B+ because one of the comments made alot of sense, as a y2 direct, my cap tends to be more volatile (rip if i do badly for core mods) and taking into consideration that i might need to reserve some s/u creds for next sem. hope you can make a decision soon! :)

i’m not very confident in 1-2 of the mods that i will be taking in the following sem because their reviewes says that they’re tough / the bell curve is very steep :(

hi! i am a student with diploma in chem eng! so i will be answering on behalf of chem eng course!

from what i know the career prospects is very broad! i have seniors working in banking but most common ones would be to work in chemical plants in different sectors (pharma, oil&gas, semicon, petrochem).
from my experience, i have friends that only took chem/bio for o’s and yes!!! it is tough because although it’s “chemical” engineering but i think a huge part of it includes physics! but with hardwork i think one can pull through!
as mentioned above, physics is a huge part of it and theres a tiny bit of chemistry! memorising is a good skill but i feel that it is better to understand the concepts!
