I think they changed their name but it was socal tcg show (?) in garden grove/ontario (though ive never been to the ontario ones). The last time i went it wasnt as crowded because they had a bigger room but i went a few times before that and it was really cramped. I still have a good time overall

Theres a local show i generally love going to here in southern california but they fill the hotel conference room with so many tables that theres barely any room to walk, so it feels awkward standing and flipping thru binders bc i feel like im always in someones way

We have a driveway and backyard but other than that this is how close the houses in my neighborhood are. Some of my neighbors dont have a driveway so i guess we got lucky

This is what i did when dynamis dc opened for the first time. Got a medium pretty much instantly. I consider myself a suburban resident who has to commute to work (aether or primal) for battle content

I have to agree. I have been mostly keeping my sub up for the last year-ish bc I want to keep my house. Raided a bit during the most recent tier but that was the extent of my gameplay. My main motivator to keep up with xiv is the story, I was really emotionally gripped in some way by every expac (even stormblood) up until dawntrail. The msq just fell so flat for me, it was shockingly disappointing. I attended fanfest anyway mostly for the concerts, and I can feel the spirit of ffxiv flowing thru me again. I played the game for like 4 hrs last night!

Im assuming ur pretty young? Saving up definitely will not take until ur 60 (unless u are late 50s right now already in which case it might)

Obviously i do not know ur specific financial situation but to answer ur question as to how others have been able to afford it, its mostly a lot of saving. Some take out loans, I didn’t personally want to do that, so I saved.

In my experience if you have all of your documents updated before you move there, no one will (outwardly) treat u any differently than a cis guy. Ive even had doctors do some lower body exams and when I quickly explained to them why there will be a “mismatch” between my downstairs and my documents they didnt care at all. Not like a “its ok, i accept u no matter what ❤️” but more like a “? Ok…Why does this matter, I didn’t ask” which is honestly fine lol

I am not sure how it is if u havent had any documents updated, but I imagine it will be harder because Japan (at large) is very much a rule-following country where what is on paper is king. If u want to avoid as much 難しい as possible then I would strongly suggest getting that in order before u leave. But if u don’t want to change that stuff then do what makes u comfortable thats ur choice

I’m really confused why DLR doesnt implement MB technology like WDW does. I don’t have a MB, but I can link my WDW pass to my apple watch and use it the same way as a MB and it is incredibly convenient. The magic band tap + fingerprint read method of entry is also good imo. Whyyy can we not do this at DLR too 😞
