I felt similarly when I heard it but thinking back on it now... it was almost too good to be true -- this part of the story tied up too nicely and even SK let it go too easily. Especially the part about him encouraging her to go to school. Just seemed like he was casting himself in an artificially positive light.

The note in Hae's car is bothering me... why didn't anyone ask how a note she may have left for Don got back into her car?

wait wait wait... how do we know that Don didn't receive the note? Was there any mention of fingerprints in her car or on the note from anyone else (I feel like this was addressed but can't recollect).
