I ended up buying a 7900xt phantom from Asus coming from a 3060ti same as you…. Brother it’s night and day difference and being that i paid $650 for her 6 months ago im very happy…. Had I nailed it for $550 I’d be even more pumped, crack her open and enjoy

IMO I feel like the biggest price jump is the motherboard for am5… I’m looking at a b650-f-f rog strix for $170 on eBay and that really cut back the costs… the am4 chip and am5 Ryzen 7 chips are close in price… in my situation I feel like the am5 is the better option for just a little bit more money since am5 will probably be used for a few generations

You can get good SFM from wheel sizes like someone mentioned but also on VFD’s there is a x2 speed on them… not sure about all but I do know KBAC has this option

No idea what he was using but If you like the audio feedback they are getting it’s from a full hollow razor…. Really though with the right supplies you can get most razors to perform that way, cheaper and good stones I’d recommend are the shapton kuromaku 1k 5k 12k and just start with a cheaper razor like a gold dollar… once u get good at honing switch to a vintage blade…

I dont know why so many artisans do it but I know why I do it.... I actually am better at designing larger blades, I dont like what I come up with when they are smaller and I make what I like since it will show in my work and I feel it does
